Really, I'm remaining calm...I swear I'm trying to remain calm nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile ...and I'm actually hoping she had herself a kibble raid. Kibbles weren't on the floor, but they were on a table that she could jump on if she actually wanted too. She also bounced up to yellows again last night for the first time in a few weeks...maybe it takes a crazy bouncy non-traditional OTJ kitty awhile to clear bounces, too. I'll check her when I get home from my Dad's treatment to see if she brought herself down well or not. (Ok...I'm not so calm after all...I'm pretty bummed about that +4...)
We covered a lot of territory in our first hour of being awake this morning: Trix was waiting outside the bedroom door when I got up. We had pre-breffis snuggles while I checked e-mail. Then we moved on to the Mannie Fuds Dance. Gelcap went smoothly, then it was off for a visit to the LB and a Happy Crap Dash: After using the box, she headed under the bed. I knew she had plans! Frankie was looking under there, thinking "WHaaaaaaa???" As soon as she peeked under the edge of the comforter, Trix popped out, darted down the stairs, and took a VERY fast tour of the first floor  ! That got the boys a bit confused riled up and I had to grab Petey before he went after Trix. Then, it was time for more food and searching for a slower-paced adventure - roaming around, trying to find just the right toy to play with. Finally, it is time to settle in for a snooze. She's a busy girl!
I'm off today, but it should be my Dad's next round of chemo. Hopefully hopefully hopefully it will go off without a hitch, as this will put him in the clear for Christmas and New Year's. He SHOULD be in good shape with the platelets, as he is now on the 3 week schedule. While he's at the infusion, my Mom will make a dent in her Christmas shopping. She tends to get overwhelmed and I'm pretty good at keeping both her and myself focused....no dilly-dallying with me around  ! If we can get a lot done for her, it should help reduce some of her holiday stress.
With that...time to move. Have a great day, LL!
