Hi everyone,

Missed another day on the board yesterday. Things are really hectic here with our trip to the Syracuse area for the traditional family Christmas less than a week away.
Rusty's nasal congestion is improving. He has been sitting in the bathroom with Edward while Edward runs the shower for about 10 minutes a day. But his numbers are not good. Today was 6 cycles after the initial bounce and I think it's time to try a dose increase again. The new BD 6mm-needle syringes arrived today. Tomorrow, if I have some spare time, I will try to figure out what Rusty's dose should be on them. The shorter needle should help, because Rusty is just skin and bones now. Also, the syringes don't appear to have a cone (the big problem with the Monojects is insulin hiding in the cone, making it almost impossible to measure a tiny dose, even using calipers).

We have lovely snow at the moment and Edward and I took the afternoon off to go snowshoeing in the woods near Paul Smiths. The woods were so lovely in the late-afternoon sunshine.
