Blech :-D on yesterday - a yellow, pink, and red day for Mannie, and more than likely a bounce from the greens he had the day before. Hopefully is will clear today, though I hope not too soon, as I am gone most of the morning. A nice blue surf would be really good Mannie. Please?, and paws crossed.

I had posted a question on Health regarding the elevated CPK levels in Mannie's blood work from 12/14, and did get some responses. Here's the link if anyone is interested: Mannie's CPK levels

Mannie's in top form this morning - and very affectionate. Testing was greeted with sound barrier level purrs, and a few head rubs. Breffis was a huge hit - he really likes Cowboy Cookout. I went with a slightly higher carb food this morning since I will be gone most of the morning. He assisted my feeble attempts at getting ready this AM - not too sure how well I did - he left without comment. :lol: :lol: No nanner circle this morning - instead he lined them all up, slept on top of the lot. OK then - new plan. :cool: Napping in progress - all is well in Mannieland.

KTSS! Emergency trip this AM - we need to take care of Tess, who had to go to the ER last night. Her beans were really worried about her pee pee. :shock: so I know she needs a spa treatment really bad, and probably some niptinis too. See you guys soon, OK? ~~ Mannie

I always get so nervous when I have to leave him for an extended time. aiyee - hopefully a 254 is enough of a traveling number. I hope to be able to get a +3, and will feed accordingly - I hope to be back for his +9. Be good Mannie!

Nice to see Mannie in the yellow's....what was he thinking with that RED??? Hope this gives you some breathing room to get out of the house!! Be good Mannie!!

Michelle...I know you were busy trying to get Mannie settled in and out the door today so thanks for taking the time to offer reassurance. Looks like Mannie is having a yellow surf today so he may have plans tonight!! I do know the roller coaster you've been on....I need to learn your patience.

This is an off topic post... you mentioned how our weather has made the news all the way out by you. Well here is a picture of the Cleveland Harbor Lighthouse. It is the functioning lighthouse at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River in the heart of Cleveland. It is pretty darn amazing! More pictures are available at

Hi Beth - and YES! That lighthouse made our news - they had interviews and everything. It is beautiful. though they did say that ships that rely on that lighthouse are worried - they can't see the beacon for all the ice (I hope I got that right.... ) Thanks for the photo and the link. It has to be so pretty - but I can only imagine how treacherous it is out there.

Hey Mannie, Good to see you in blue this evening (and nice going to give your mamabean an afternoon without worry).
A kitty Christmas party sounds neat. Certainly we could have it at Camp Stu. No running water at this time of year, but the kitties could chop holes in the ice and pull up a bucket (or borrow some from the bean who lives next door year round). Otherwise, there is heat (propane heater and fireplace) and light. And, of course, lots of snow for snowboard surfing. Let the kitties put on their thinking caps and come up with a PLAN!!

Miss Ella! thank you! I just love camp Stu, and I think it would be a really cool place to have everyone gather for a holiday party. We will have to watch Tess though - last time she cut a hole in the ice and went scuba diving! Hi marjorie - that he is... and no - not really a great time: colonoscopy for DH. one of life's evil necessities.

and no on celi - I had been thinking the same thing - I looked for a condo this AM, really didn't have enough time to visit anyone, didn't pursue it as I had to go. I was thinking of her a few minutes ago too - still nothing out there. I hope all is OK there - could just be weather related issues, power outages etc. idaho can have some ugly winters. I dunno - kinda worried here too. last I heard she was taking her sister shopping.

81 @ +3.5 - looks like the 14% put on the brakes. I fed this one with some 10%, and will test again @ +4.
