I’m glad the civvie is improving. what are all the black numbers on the SS just below the current numbers?

Ya they appeared yesterday after Marjie cleaned up the old SS. Told her about it and she got it fixed yet today they appeared again. Poor Marje must have spent hours fixing my SS. Will pm her. I thk she’s probably sleeping now.

Just when I thought I can focus on jebat, my third cat is straining to pee! Hopefully just an infection and can settle at regular vet.

Have you googled idiopathic cystitis?
I thought Sheba was getting repeated UTIs when it was IC. She used to strain to pee, have blood in her urine, visit LB frequently, pee in inappropriate places when she had a flare up of IC

IC is stress-related. But nothing chge in her diet or environment. What triggered it then? There’s blood in her urine. Initially I thot she’s constipated so I gave Miralax.

Yes they say it is stress related. I couldn’t always tell what triggered Sheba’s flares. Sometimes it was obvious like when strangers came to stay. She could cope with noisy kids running around the house all day but if a stranger came in, she got stressed.
In the last couple of weeks Jebat has come out of remission and that would have stressed me. Maybe your civvie is noticing the changes in the house. I’m not saying that is it.... just that it is a possibility.
I used a feliway collar, gave extra fluids and tried to keep things ‘normal’.
I also got her injections of Cartrophen which is for arthritis but also helps the bladder wall. It’s also called Adequan in other countries.

Yes, vet thinks it’s idiopathic cystisis. All that’s happening at home and she probably sensed that I’m stressed. A course of antibiotics and maropitant for her. Hopefully she’ll be ok soon.
Regarding jebat’s bg values, if he stays blue tonite, I can say he’s over the bounce?
