Thanks for all the good wishes today! Biggie did well - he had four little incisors taken out that were already loose and a good cleaning. Teeth looked good otherwise on the X-rays. He’s very affectionate and I think feeling pretty good from an injection of buprenorphine.

Wow, his bg was 70 when we got home (forgot to take it before food but it was soon after eating). They said it was 201 on the alpha track during the day- not sure what time they took it. He is feeling pretty good- he followed me around a bit. He ate some but wasn’t ravenous. I didn’t offer him too much and mixed it with water.

I’m cautiously optimistic about this PMBG!Not sure if this is a result of the reduced inflammation in his mouth or just the fact that he didn’t eat much all day. I am not going to give him his insulin tonight. He ate his first meal outside the bedroom for the first time in 4 months! He came into he kitchen and ate his dinner just now. This made my heart very happy.

He really is! He did so well at the vet and has been really happy and Bright since coming home.
