Good Friday Morning,
Amps 373
Pink start today as a bounce from a bit of action last night. Ivy dipped a bit from +3 to +4 to 90s on Libre (so a bit higher on a handheld meter)

Luckilly I had left her 1/4 tsp 12.5% mixed in her 6% snacks while I was out for a few hours to hold her a bit. Good thing I did, as her cycle looks like it would have been lower bg without the bump from carbs.

I did leave the dinner a little early to come home when she did a dip under 100 around +3. :rolleyes:
Glad that’s over, it was stressful with no one home with her. Whew :nailbiting:
Hope everyone has a safe surf and a good start to the weekend :smuggrin:

That's a great news, but that makes outing more difficult o_O
FD is such a double edged sword thing.

Good thinking yesterday, leaving her some higher carb. we're becoming such sensitive sensors to out little ones, don't we?!
I hope you managed to enjoy a little your dinner. I know how stressful it can be to leave the house.
I hope Ivy comes down quickly and safely today.

Hi Shelly, thank you. It was a nice but brief evening out. I get too stressed. As soon as she dipped under 100 I left. I was worried she was gonna go down fast. (It was all fine, she didn’t go too low)
Lucky I wasn’t too far from home.

Yes, the added carbs helped Keep her where she needed to be. I think without them she really would’ve gone down fast and I wouldn’t have been here to help so that would’ve been not great.

She’s definitely a little bit lower today not too low but we’ll see where she goes.
Hoping for a boring but nice cycle.

Pmps 265 (Libre)

She had a nice 8 hour stretch today in blues (on Libre, so actually higher than numbers on handheld meter.)

DOSE QUESTION:
She’s on 2.75 units Lantus for the past 12 days. We are doing SLGS.

*Every time we go up to 3 units she gets a reduction. However, I’m lowering her reduction point to 75 or 70 (from 80) so that should help keep her at 3 units if we go up to that dose again.

She hasn’t really gone down to under 100 on a handheld meter in over a week.
I’m thinking we need to do an increase. What does the panel think? Increase????

Or is there something else I could be doing to manage things better?

I won’t do it until Sunday am cycle as I have to be out tomorrow night and would want to monitor closely.

Meh on the Zyrtec. She’s still biting her tee shirt. Can’t figure out the cause.
What probiotic are you using and why? For itching?
Ivy takes a probiotic every other week, one week on then off.

Mocha has EGC and dermatitis. Not sure of the cause. One possibility protein but she’s eaten them all. She I decided if it is maybe a probiotic that I’m giving her sister for IBD might help . I use Visbione every day for now. I think her problem might be both environmental and protein.
Good luck with the increase.
