Happy Caturday! We're glad to hear Kibby is feeling better and we continue to send healing vines to Moonie and Noni. Our deepest sympathy to Dani as Bug crossed the Bridge and also to Rhiannon's family in their loss of Phaedra.

Little green last night....gotta wonder if we have a case of NDW today since I added a bit to her dose last night. Where's that "grrr" emoticon? grr_red grr_red grr_red Found it!  Last week was so busy with the sisters here that I didn't get a chance to tell you all about a little incident we had. Gracie was on the bar schmooozing for a snack and I had gotten it for her and turned to give it to her. She always wants to headbutt before she gets the snack...don't ask me why but I always enjoy it. So I dipped my head to headbutt her and as she moved towards me, she inadvertently stepped off the edge of the bar. I had my head down so didn't realize at first she was falling. She fell all the way to the kitchen floor and landed kind of on her side but popped right up. It scared the holy you know what out of me; thankfully, Gus's chiro vet was here so she gave Gracie a really good going over from head to tail and said she didn't think Gracie had injured herself. We've still been watching her closely this week for any limping, etc.

Our thoughts have been with all of those affected by the horrible tragedy in Newtown, CT. We continue to keep them in our prayers and also pray for our Nation that those making the laws will finally see the necessity of better gun control to protect the innocent.

Awwww, sweet Gracie and her over excited headbutts! She's a resilient little girl and I hope she has no residual effects from her fall from grace. (tee-hee) Shasta rolled off the couch tonight as she tried to grab her bird toy. Total embarrassment. Hope she safely comes down from this bounce. Hope you and your sisters had a blast! Blessings, Marje!

Hi Marje,

I've been trying to visit a bit today. Sorry it's so late, but I wanted to say hi. I miss your Gracie stories, but not this one. I'm so sorry you got that scare. Daphne used to climb my son's steps, which are (hard to explain, but go up to a loft, so they aren't real steps, they are one left foot, then right foot, cut out…) I taught Daphne when she was younger to go up them by hitting each one with my hand and she just followed and from that day on, she would run up the steps so fast, scared us to death most of the time, and one night she fell off, it was almost 6' high and she landed like Gracie, on her side. She was fine, we checked her out, she was running around like nothing happened, and then she did it again one other time. So I guess, they must know something we don't about falling. Happy to hear Gracie was OK from her little fall too.

I hope you and your family have a great holiday, if I don't get back here before. I miss this place so much!
