yesterday's condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=32086

Nice low blue this morning! Spot woke me up inbetween his +6 and his +9 snack and I saw his bowl was empty so I added some more to it. Not sure if he ate it or Ali (She has been very hungry lately, I think it has something to do with the weather). Woke up at 5:00 am with Ralphie scratching on the bed wanting to be picked up or petted, not sure which, and with Spot on my tummy. Left the house with Spot eating some fishy flakes.

Can't visit many condo's this morning...work to do! Will visit a few now and hopefully later tonight......Christmas is next week and I still have to make candy, so my evening will be pretty busy!! Have a wonderful hump day!!!
Ok, venting time...boss just walked into my office and handed me a huge folder of resume's. We are starting a new account and need a new crew manager....Boss supervises some, I supervise some. One of his c/m transferred to the new account, my floater transferred into that open position, which leaves me with a floaters position open. He says to me...here, look through these and make some phone calls....I'm like, well, you should be able to do that, and he walks out of my office. Like, I know that it's my open position, but he's taking my floater, he should be doing the phone calls. I do just about everything else in this place.....UGGGGHHHH!!!!! Thank goodness in a few months he will be getting a new "title" and responsibilities and I'll be taking over the Pittsburgh region...truthfully, I think I'd do a better job than he is doing....and I've been told as much (not tooting my own horn, but my boss is more interested in reading the paper and a book or trying to get back pats then actually doing his job the way it is supposed to be done.......Oh, well, enough...gotta go and do some work and look through resumes.

Officer Putty should give your boss a ticket!

Hi Deb, Sounds like you're super busy. Good thing Spottie has such nice numbers. Have a good day. What's a "floater" in your profession? (When my nephew was on the rowing crew at Columbia in the '70s they used to come across "floaters" (bodies dumped by the Mafia) frequently as they trained on the Harlem River!)

Morning Deb and Spot! Nice start today for you Spot - be good now, your bean is really busy. Have you mastered the art of self-testing yet? Tess could show you how...

Wow on the work place, wow on the boss. sheshhhh..... Nice when you will be able to run it the way you know it should be. :-D I love Ella's definition of "floaters" omg, and more than likely true.

Hi Deb, Now I have an idea of what you do. What a great organization!

Hey Spottie, Don't worry, I only bake 1 batch of cookies a day, so Rusty will get plenty of attention!!

+3 ~77
+4 ~74

Pretty nice day! I had 4 call offs today so I ended up having to work a crew and my neighbor came down and pulled Spot's insulin for me so Mom could give him his shot. I tried to explain exactly where the .5u was...the second line up from the bottom on the opposite side of where the number 5 was. At this point, I'm not sure if she did .5 of 1u...so I'll be doing some spot checks throughout the night just to make sure. I can usually run home and do his syringe when I have to do a double unexpectedly, but today, that was not an option.

Well, it's time to go to bed...there might be another long day tomorrow...already to two people off, I have this terrible feeling that there will be more call offs tomorrow. Good night all!!!
