Comfy bed and a heating pad! Spoiled like she should be.

Bell has her own special way of enjoying her cat “bed”.Funny enough that cat "bed" used to look like this:

Instead of getting in it, they just laid on top of it

This is sooo funny Seth! Since Binie was using every cavelike place in my appartement for naps (blankets, tabelcloth etc.) I gave her a similar catbed as a Christmas present. The first thing she did was to mount on top of it to lie down - like Bell. I did everything to show her the cave aspect but she was not interested. Cats.....

I bought a tunnel for Ivy to crawl through or hide in. She just walks around it. No interest. She’s like “what would I do in there? “This is sooo funny Seth! Hahaha all of that is too good! Cardboard boxes from here on out for Bell! The nicer the gift the less interested they are in it!

@SmallestSparrow: Thank you for this. You're right. When I was thinking out loud, I wasn't thinking of a culture. I was assuming the vet would throw another antibiotic at it immediately and I didn't want to start that the same time as the dose increase and then have trouble identifying a potential solution. Doesn't make sense to delay since the results of the culture will take a bit.

I think the high BG is starting to get to her a little bit. She is now drinking and peeing a ton. Seems a little more sleepy than usual, but that could just be me being paranoid. She's eating well, pooping, and will play (as much as she ever does )

@cecile & bella: This is a great thought... I'm looking at the Clavamox box and I don't see an ingredient list for the non-active ingredients. But I would guess it isn't the reason her BG is high because she's been on at least 4 cycles of this same liquid Clavamox in the past for her anal gland rupture. I didn't notice an impact on her BG at that time, unfortunately (or fortunately

Last liquid antibiotics I gave to Binie have been a sugar bomb (Chloramphenicol). Directly after each dose I could see the sugar shooting up. I didn't know what was going on before someone here - I think it was Wendy - mentioned this possibility. I hope you find the reason soon - or you don't find any reason and her bg goes down again just like that. Glad to hear, she is doing fine otherwise. Fingers and paws are crossed!
