Well wasn't looking for lemons this morning but that's what I got.

So at work yesterday and it's take pictures with Santa. Open to the community. My opinion it was so lame. They did not advertise. They did not stage an area with a "Santa" chair, the tree that was in the room was the only decoration. Parents took their own picture if they could. They had some cookies. That was it. Only a few people showed up.

I am going to seal the grout today and hopefully put back the few boxes left to unpack.
 
Sorry there wasn't a more 'creative' person available to fix up the area for Santa's photo ops...

I hope Ollie comes down soon...and onward with the kitchen reno :)

Did another coat of sealing grout. Think I'll keep doing it until bottle is empty. Couple more boxes out of way. Can't believe how much crap I have. I think it's all put away now.
 
I finally saw your pics of the new kitchen! it looks so amazing, you must be so happy and relieved that it is all done!

Ugh, too bad about the Santa event, what a disappointment... hopefully it will go better next year (if your work does it again)

Keep up the slide Olive, lets see you hit the lagoon!

Glad it's finished. I keep feeling the counter top to make sure it's real. I don't want to put anything on it to cover it up, I want to see it.
