Not a bad number considering yesterday's low of 63 (AT), the high carb given and a dose reduction. I'll take it, especially since DH is on duty again tonight. It was easy for him to dose .5 but I'm a little worried about .25.

This has been a lousy night, following a lousy day.

Chester's numbers are horrible, and I'm telling myself "bounce" from the very low 63 AlphaTrak yesterday. I told myself to expect it, but it's just so hard to see those obnoxious red squares.

Hubby was uncertain what to do at shot time with Chester so high. Gave him .5 minus one drop...but I have no clue how large or small that one drop was. Tomorrow morning and evening I'll be dosing the Little Man, but Thursday night it's Hubby again. Hopefully this bounce will clear.
 
Can DH learn to post if you're not available and he doesn't know what to do?

I don't know that the PMPS is due to a bounce off of the green yesterday AM. It's possible but I think it's unlikely.

What I really, really want to encourage you to do is to not tinker with the dose. Even shaving a drop from a dose, especially when you're already on a small dose, can have a big effect. Your DH shot based on a pre-shot number. What you may be seeing is a high before a break and raising the number wasn't necessary.
 
Even getting him to test is a major accomplishment. It's not that he's not willing, he just gets very frustrated and I expect things, of course, to be "just so." The variation between two people giving that kind of a shot is worrisome to me in the first place. Even if he tried to get it just right at .25 the poor man's eyesight is horrendous! We use a LARGE magnifying glass and still...I don't trust the dose.

I've got three cycles before he gets another one on his own, then it's me all the way until Christmas Eve. I'm still quite worried about that trip over Christmas.

So...with a high before a break, should I stick with the .25? I'm assuming yes, but whew...that is a nasty red we're seeing!
