I went ahead and chose not to increase, Tip jumped in to better numbers today. I have noticed that she seems to have quite a bit of excess skin around her stomach though? I mean, she's always had some, but I'm not sure if I've just been oblivious to it until now, or what.

Unfortunately though, I come bearing very sad news. Today, Frankie, our outdoor kitty, was hit by a car and had to be put down. It's unfortunate because everyone on the street knew and loved him. Strong enough to knock me to the ground from just latching on to my leg, but an absolute sweetheart. Even with his ear that got messed up on his first day out(his previous owner died and then the family just tossed him out) from a squirrel. He never did mess with them since then.

(((Cindy))) I'm sorry to hear about your outdoor kitty Frankie. I hope he didn't suffer. It sounds like your family and the neighborhood made his life a lot better than it used to be.

At least Tip has decided to come through with some nice numbers today. Have you been weighing Tip to see how her weight is changing, or if it is? If they lose a bit of weight they can look baggier around the tummy. Did her lose weight before her FD diagnosis?

I'm not sure how long it was before he came in to the garage, before that we had no clue, he was fine at 8am and he was in the garage around 11:30am-noon, we had rushed him to the vet but it was too late. Yeah, everyone kept him pretty spoiled, in return we never saw mice in the house. Neither did the neighbors. We're still going to keep his stuff out for any strays that might need a bit of food, water, or shelter especially since it's getting really cold now.

I've been trying to weigh her as well as Christmas about 1-2 times a week. Right now it isn't changing much, she's stuck at 11lbs 11oz it seems, even though she's overweight currently. She did lose a lot of weight before she was diagnosed. Pretty quickly too, was the one thing that set off red flags that something was wrong.
