Good Morning, Everyone,
I would say that Rusty has definitely broken his bounce and the flat yellow of yesterday! He was hungry this morning. Ate his Wellness Turkey breakfast in 2 1/2 sittings (got a little extra), went outdoors (no squirrels, but Shadow showed up and they touched noses and both waited for squirrels to appear). Then Rusty wanted to come in and sit on the radiator. That's where he is now. I'll be getting a +3 in a few minutes to see where he might be going (onset with Levemir doesn't normally begin for Rusty until after +4).
I decided last night not to go hiking today: the weather is awful (thick fog, very damp air that is hard to breathe, temperatures hovering around freezing, and no sunshine expected); Rusty needs to be watched; and I want to do some Xmas shopping later. The food for the potluck Xmas party is all finished, so it will be a good day to do some of the things I haven't had time for.
Wishing everyone a good day and sending healing vines to all who need them,
Ella & Rusty
