+4 207. Not a fur shot this time, so I think I overdid the gravy just a bit. It's hard balance, because if we don't get a spike, we get a dive. I did put a lot to avoid the drop, so I do have some wiggle room, I think. I think I'll start measuring the gravy food more precisely.
He usually gets FF for PS and +1, various chicken, beef, or turkey flavors, so under 7%. He loves the seafood flavors, but those are limited to 2 cans a week. He gets Merrick BG for snacks (chicken, turkey, beef, or quail and chicken)at +2 and sometimes +6 or 7. Treats are freeze-dried chicken or shrimp.
Right now he's eating 2 3oz. cans of FF and at least half a 5.5 oz. can of BG each day. I'm trying to help him gain 2-3 pounds, but don't want him vomiting from too much food.

You're feeding a pretty low carb diet. I honestly don't know if the FF is 7% or 4%. (There was a page on the web that said the FF was reformulated and is now 7% but the website wasn't using "as fed" values.) You might want to try using an 8 or 9% food and see if that helps to level things out and then you don't have to keep guessing at how much to give Mikey.

That sounds good. You might want to look at Gabby's SS since I do something similar. I don't use HC food since Gabby can get the runs from the gluten in the HC food. I generally use a drop or two of Karo or honey and re-test in 30 min. to see what's going on.

+2 218. Not much of a drop, but I'm also not sure if he got the whole dose. I think I lost a drop trying to get the dose just right. Actually I know I lost one. I tried to catch it on the syringe cap and suck it back in but didn't work too well. Not a terrible day, just not a great one.
