And so with the busy social butterfly schedule, a tuckered Atlas makes his way to bed after a bit of breffis. We added a bit more juice to the dose as we're still getting lots of yellows, pinks, and high blues.
Cold temperatures abound outside and Lake Effect snow is blowing in the 20 mph winds. Taking the balmy temperature of 16F down to a bone chilled 0.0F or colder. Exposed skin will be frostbit in 30 minutes or less.
Gary is served up his warm breffis on a towel that was being warmed by the register and the hot socks are refreshed in the Lodge. Last nights packets are still generating some nice warmth. I'm very impressed as they say only 7 hours and the one sock is well into 13 hours. ;-) I was pretty concerned last night, but maybe no so much this morning.
A little research on the 99 cent hot packet lifesavers, reveals our troops use them too. And if sending packages to the troops these are a good add in item.
MudCat is being her little tortie impish self this morning. At my feet whining and then running away the minute I look at her. Following her with her tail up in the air to a filled food bowl on the kitchen table. I don't know what her issue is today? Attie can't get up there to the bowl...so she is back to being her kibbie nibbling routine.
