Sorry I wasn't around yesterday but my Mom called to tell me our family dog was very ill. My sweet girl, Chase, is a german sheppard/border collie cross. She's 15.5 years old and has cushing disease. I spent the day with her, she has lost the use of her back legs and is having trouble breathing. She will be crossing the bridge today at 4:30 pm Eastern time. So if you could all please keep her in your thoughts. She's the sweetest girl and full of love and I will miss her so very much.

Tray on the other hand, has has a great weekend and even earned a decrease last night.

I'm so sorry. I hope Chase has been as happy as a puppy can be. I will keep you both in my thoughts this afternoon and hope that Chase has an easy and safe crossing.
 
Prayers for Chase and your family, a peaceful crossing, and relief from her pains. I hope that easing her suffering will help you get through your grief.

Oh Iorwen, My Heart hurts so much for you! I know how you feel, as two of my dearest dogs lost the use of their legs also-May Chase have a peaceful crossing in the arms of those who love her..So so sorry!
 
:YMHUG: I am so saddened for you and your family about Chase. She has been loved and a family member so for long. What a wonderful life to be with a family who love you so, no matter what happens as you age. This is the final act of love and giving you & your family are bravely facing. No matter how long they are with us it is never long enough and doesn't make their passing any easier. I have alerted all my GA dogs who will meet her and help her through the transition. I am hoping the many memories of so many years together will ease your pain and you will be comforted through your tears. Crying while I write I've been here so many times. :cry: {{{{{{ Hug }}}}}}
 
I'm so sorry to hear about Chase... There are no words to describe the pain of losing someone so dear to you...

I'll keep your sweet girl in my thoughts today... and know she will have a peaceful crossing and be welcomed at the bridge by all those we love who have gone before her.
 
I'm very sorry to hear about Chase. I will be thinking of you and your family and am sending peaceful crossing vines. I know how sad you are and I know how much your heart is breaking right now.

I'm so sorry Iorwen. Hold onto the knowledge that she's out of pain and is running free with all of our sweet ones who have gone ahead. ((((HUGS))))
