Good Monday Morning, Everyone,

It looks like today will be stormy. At the moment we are having rain/freezing rain/snow, but temps. will be dropping and all will be snow in an hour. (It's the same storm that hit the mid west.) Keeping fingers crossed that there is not much ice build-up under the snow. We are without our wood stove (our heat source in the event of a power outage) until it can be inspected!!
Rusty had a good night last night. He couldn't wait for us to come to bed. We were watching a movie on TV and he pointedly went upstairs, came down again, and hopped up on the testing spot, brushing against us! So we watched the end of the movie with one eye while testing Rusty and putting out his nighttime food. Then, while I was finishing up his spreadsheet for the day he sat on my desk and kept nudging me. As soon as I got into bed he was there, in his spot: happy at last (these beans are such slugs, why don't they hurry up so I can go to sleep!)
A good morning. All Ps in place (counting last night). Breakfast and treats eaten. Testing took 3 pokes. Shot went well. Great game with Big Bug.
We have our potluck Xmas party this evening with all of our friends. Most live in or near town, but some have to drive distances and the travel advisory is not supposed to be lifted until 10 A.M. tomorrow.

So cute that Rusty loves sleeping with you guys....and that he was impatient to get to bed lat night! :lol:

it's a cold one here too. Stay safe and warm tonight and I hope you don't get any power outages.
Poor Rusty being made to go to bed :lol: My boys are like that too. If I change our usual routine they get very annoyed.

yes its really cold here in Ky I was thinking this morning that goodness for power my DH needs to fire up our generator just to make sure its up and running just in case. Nice amps for Rusty today ;-)

Ella..OMG it sounds SOOOO cold and we're going to have another 80 degree day. It sounds so warm, cozy, and picturesque up there but I think I'll take the warmth here!! Man it hits 50 at night and I've got the fireplace going :lol: :lol:

Glad to hear Rusty's great WCR and three pokes is great...moving forward. He's in his element!!

Apprentice Rusty...time to get going...we got to go to Curry's (she is sweet on you) and then Attie's and then the OTJ party!! We need you!!

I love reading Rusty'd condo every day. There is a heart tug reading how comfortable he is with you two already. I'm so happy for him.

I have to echo what Karrie said. I just love reading about Rusty. Its a great way to start my day. Warms my heart.

Always such a nice condo to visit. Rusty is doing so well. I hope you go to bed at his desired time tonight. Terrible when the Kitty has to give Bean instructions. All crossed your power stays on till your stove is checked. We are freezing here in FL. Wind chill tomorrow a.m. is to be in the teens. Luckily I still have my down jacket from up North. I also put my down comforter on the bed tonight and I know there is going to be a battle for that. Tuffy is in residence there.

Have a good night. Be safe if you have to go out. And, again, don't keep Rusty up past his bedtime.

I can't read enough about that sweet, precious Rusty. I hope that your pot luck goes well, and that no firemen are required at this dinner. What dish are you bringing?

I do not know how I keep missing your posts... aiyee! great WCR for Rusty - I love it when they keep telling us we need to go to bed. Sometimes Mannie will do that - I love it! I love Rusty reports - always a feel good condo. It is so nice to know that he fits in there just perfectly.

Stay warm- and be careful if you have to go out. -- and have fun at the potluck!

Rusty! DUDE! You are such a great apprentice. I think that soon you will be promoted to journeyman. Thanks for all your help tonight in the kitchen. No one can chopped and dice and slice as well as you do. Awesome! Did you have fun at Attie's? - i love to skate, and the ice dancing - that was kinda cool too. See you tomorrow maybe? I gotta go tot he vet - i'm a little scared, but my bean says it will be OK. i wonder how she knows that... See you! ~~ Mannie
