Yesterday

After a bit of a pj party last night, it's time for Rhubarb to try only a drop of insulin. Her sugars dropped into the lime green at +3 and came up with food, but was on the edge of lime again in an hour. Gave more food and went to bed. She normally reacts much more to food than that. Crossing fingers!

Thanks everyone for the support yesterday :)

Looks like today will be smooth surfing with only slight decrease between +3 and +4. She previously has had no issues when those tests are similar and in good range, and she has never (antijinx) dropped too low during the day.

Never say never in earshot of Rhubarb! :woot:

Need advice please- do I shoot? Currently 4.7@+11.5
Shot time should be 720pm, but I wanted to move it up to 705.
So do I wait and see or skip?

I'd wait and see what she is at +12 ie. if she is rising without food and how much. I'm a bit worried about another potential PJ party if you shoot too low but that ultimately is your decision.

That's kind of what I was thinking! Will test again in 20 min.
Maybe this is that end cycle dip?

Are you well stocked with supplies and feeling better? Can you test as long as necessary tonight if she decides to have another PJ party?

If the answers are "yes", I'd go ahead and shoot at PMPS and get a +1 and +2 so you can intervene early if necessary.

Oh, and by the way....You earned your BOS award yesterday for shooting the 95!!

Before insulin she usually went down a bit after eating

eta- she usually doesn't eat a huge amount at any one time either.

Don't start thinking you jinxed anything.....that's still a pretty flat cycle so far. See if you can entice Rhubarb with a bit of MC food and if she will eat a bit, I'd give her a break and set an alarm for a couple of hours (+4). If she won't eat, then yes I'd be inclined to test her at +3 because she usually starts her drop then.

Well it's 20 past MN here and I may or may not still be up at that hour. Probably will be but don't want to promise. You know what to do if she starts dropping. If you need help Chris might be around although she's had a busy few days. If you need help, put a "?" mark on your title or add a 911 if you need immediate help as there should still be some west coasters around or UK and/or Aussie folks coming online. I think she'll probably surf through the night the way she is going but that's just a guess on my part. She seems to be more interested or should I say co-operative about eating tonight which is good.
