Our thoughts and Prayers are with Josie and Will this morning as their beloved Ripley crosses over the bridge. Our hearts go out to them both.
PurrFace is doing fine today. He's enjoying not getting a lot of pokes. The vet couldn't give a definitive reason for these rapid drops. He said he isn't familiar with Lantus since PF is the only FD he has on it but it is possible that his body started to produce some of it's own insulin about the same time the shot kicked in.
Looking back at his numbers, there is a huge mistake I made the day this happened. DW tested him that morning and told me he was 104 and asked if she should give him his shot. I told her yes without checking his previous numbers. That error resulted in shooting a dropping number. He was at PM +9/170 and had dropped to AMPS 104.
