Hi All,
I posted a response to everyone on my condo last night, but apparently it was eaten by the post gremlin. I didn't discover it missing until this morning. Thank you for all the encouraging words. This has been a tough time, and I wouldn't be surviving without you all.
Don did his first night shift last night. He's been nervous about making the calls about Mikey, but when he saw that I was losing it despite his doing most of the house stuff, so I can focus on Mikey, he agreed to go for it. I wrote down careful directions for him, showed him the spreadsheet, then crashed. It felt so good to get some unbroken sleep. He did wake me up briefly to let me know when he was coming to bed, but other than that, I slept. He did a great job, although he's exhausted today. I'll be on duty tonight, I expect. Please behave, Mikey!
Today we have our regularly scheduled bounce for the cat who is not sure if he's really a rubber ball. I fed him at AM +11.5 as Julie suggested, so we'll see what happens with that tonight. No diving, Mikey!
