So far Magellan is really working that insulin. My trick is to continue feeding what I had but with one addition to the mix exactly 5 hc treats to the plate. This it looks like is adding just enough carb load to keep him from having issues with the insulin. My plans are as his numbers become more stable to slowly reduce the treats till there is 0. Then at that time working him down the insulin dose, with each reduction seeing if he needs the hc bump to maintain.
