PurrFace got a good report at his follow-up vet visit this morning. He has been doing very good today...all 5Ps and even spending time on the catio in 40 degree weather. We decided to back off on the insulin dosage to 1U BID. I know this won't allow him the opportunity to post green numbers but for right now we'll be happy with blue and yellow ones. These two uncontrolable drops into the dangerous numbers were only two weeks apart and took a lot out of the little guy as well as DW and me. All three of us need some less stressful time.

I think you are completely right about keeping him up some. Crashing is certainly no better for him than yellow/blue and you are not willing to compromise his well being :YMHUG: Whoopie for less stress! PurrFace will come down when it's time and it's safe. Hugs to all of you! And safe/health vines too
