Hello from soggy Northern California! Guess all the praying for rain all year did actually work. We've had over 3 inches so far from this storm. Luckily the high winds they forecast did not materialize. Still not complaining, but this weather is murder on my hair.
(Does anyone know why the writing appears below the image? That happens sometimes and I can never figure it out. I didn't do anything differently than I have when there is no writing.)
Cinco is still surfing low yellows/high blues. I'm off to Costco shortly to get the pens, so maybe we'll crack one open tonight and see if fresh jus makes a difference. Question: Do you store all the pens in the fridge from the beginning, even though you're only opening the one?
Minka did not want to eat this morning. She didn't act nauseated, just uninterested, but I gave her some Ondansetron anyway. Two hours later she still didn't want to eat, so I reluctantly gave her some Mirtz. Thirty minutes later, it kicked in. I know this because you could hear her all over the house! Meowzapine is a very good name for it. She's up in our bedroom now, carrying on. That's the room with the monitor, so I can hear her loud and clear. She did finally eat some cat food, although still a little less than I would have liked. I boiled some chicken for her, but she just lapped up the broth and left the meat. Sasha was more than happy to take care of the remainder.
Harvey hasn't eaten much, either. I haven't been able to catch him to get an Ondansetron or Mirtz down him. He acts like he wants to eat, but after a bite or two, or even just a sniff, turns away. He seems a little better this afternoon, but if he doesn't eat his dinner I will have DH help me catch him and get an Ondansetron down him. I did have him once, but he managed to spit the pill out and escape (I didn't have him in the sack - I had snuck up on him as he slept).
Well, I'd better go put on my high water pants to wade out to theboat car. Hope everyone else that is in the path of this storm gets the rain they need and no damage.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Praying for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, Lisa's DF and Elise's DM. Hooray for the ongoing OTJ trials!
