Good morning all!
Well, just so there. i don't have to slap myself this morning- no pink! We have yellow! barely, but a win is a win.

Ollie seems great! he isn't eating as much as he used to, that's good! AT FD diagnosis and changing to all wet, he was eating 2.5 cans 9-lives/day. yesterday - just under 1.75. with about 6 shrimp at testing. He's deciding how much he wants and he's leaving some food in his dish now. (yeah) He was about (21lb before diagnosis), (16.9 in sept, at diagnosis) - (17.75 last week at vet). He's suppposed to be about 15. (big cat) 14 would be great. So we need to loose some weight.
Starting today I'm going to add a little more water to see if that will help reduce total calories. Also, putting a little less in his dish each meal.

Yay on the yellow start this morning. Good luck getting Oliver's weight down. I hope you had a good walk.

HI again,
i'm chattering about weight and forgot to ask about increasing to 2.25 tonight.
This morning was 6 cycles at 2 . the 2 doesn't seem to be the magic number so i would increase him to 2.25 tonight?

Hi Mary. Glad to see that Oliver made it to the yellow zone. It's really difficult to get some of these cats to watch their weight. I guess they're just like people.

Good luck with the dosecrease tonight. Oliver you lucky kitty! more juice for you - use it well. ad I am with you - yellow is yellow, and it is wonderful not to see pink... wish I could say that about Mannie this morning... :roll:

Good luck too with the weight issue. It is something we have struggled with here too. Mannie used to be a 12 pound kitty, should in reality be 10, but... at Dx he went down to 7, after DX shot up to 17! omg on that.... I gradually decreased the amount he was fed at each meal, and we are finally back to my 12 lb guy. For me, I was overfeeding at Dx. He was so skinny... so I fed. I wish you luck with controlling Olivers. :-D

Ollie is up to 2.25 now. I hope we get some beautiful numbers.. Maybe a green or 2?
it's absolutely pouring down rain with thunder and lightening. All the kitties are looking for a safe spot.

Hey Carla, We did have a fun walk. He wanted to climb the mango tree today. But he only climbed to about my shoulder height. mama shortened the leash. sorry ollie.

Hey Ann, Totally glad there were no stinkus pinkus. Yeah yellow. Ollie is big. His mom was HUGE. she was the size of a big fox. We only saw her for a couple weeks. but she was the biggest cat i've ever seen.

What a sunny yellow day for Oliver today! I hope he shows some more blue skies soon - good luck with the dosecrease. And the weight thing too. I try to weigh Neko every couple of weeks to see what's happening and try to adjust accordingly.

I saw the awful Florida weather on the weather channel. I hope there weren't any twisters anywhere near you today.
