Late late late posting today. TBP has been a bear with month end.

Tarragon is happy furry purry with all 5 p's. I sound like a broken record. :-D He is just such a sweet boy, always wanting picked up, held, and snuggled.

Thinking of Josie and Ripley and sending lots of healing vines for John and PF. Sending lots of love and healing energy to all beans and kitties who need it today.

Re: 12/11 Tarragon AMPS 270

Nice sunny start for Tarragon today. I love black and white cuddlers too. I bet lots of beans are hugging their snuggly cats today.

Month end and year end - yuck! Hope work passed by quickly today.

Hi Melissa! That T is one consistently happy purry cat! :-D Give him an extra snuggle for me please! He is just too cute to resist ;-)

Re: 12/11 Tarragon AMPS 270

Yay, T! :-D :-D We never get tired of hearing you are a furry purry boy. :-D :-D Has everyone recovered from the marathon or half marathon?

Re: 12/11 Tarragon AMPS 270

Liz - Thanks! Brian and Mason are recovered. I, on the other hand, tore my gluteus minimus in mile 3 and kept running. I have been going back and forth to the orthopedic dr and have a bone density scan tomorrow. :? They are going to check and make sure I don't have any fractures. My "woman" cycle has ceased as of 150 days ago so I think that is the concern. Grrrrr. Brian runs the Louisiana marathon Jan 19.

Hi guys,
Nice PMPS, Mr. T!!  You and Rusty are manning the lagoon this evening.

Melissa, I'm so sorry to hear that you injured yourself at mile 3 in the Half Marathon: bummer! It is always tempting to try to run through an injury, but sometimes you have to stop (I learned that lesson in the NYC Marathon in 1991, when I injured my knee at mile 16 and kept on going, but eventually had to quit).
I hope your glut will heal quickly. Have you tried putting Arnica gel on it? Wendy told me about it and it really works. Good luck with your bone density test. I'm sure you will be fine. Have you lost weight during your training? Sometimes the body will "shut down" some of what it considers non-essential functions in order to regain its "normal" weight and therefore protect itself. (It's sort of analogous to our kitties' bounces  )

Hugs, scritches, and wishing you all a fine evening,

Ella & Rusty

Hey Rusty! We gotz the greens covered! - your buddy T

Ella - I have been using Arnica and it works wonders. The bone density test is just to make sure all is ok. A friend of mine had some leg pain during the marathon and kept going even though she was in terrible pain by the end. She ended up breaking her pelvis in 2 areas. :o That rattled me to say the least. She is in pretty bad shape. My mom and sisters all stopped their monthly visitor at about 45 so I am on track. It just happened to coincide with my long distances. I have lost about 15% of my body weight so that probably has something to do with it as well.

Hey Iron Woman! Just read about your nasty injury, and I must say, you are kinda my hero! Hope you are healing well!!!
