Dosecrease today, to 5.5. I think the next increase is 0.5u and probably the last one should have been. Still not sure what's going on with her but not complaining. Ketones ok (0.4 yesterday) and although she's still a bit picky with food, she is eating and haven't needed to give any ondansetron. No evidence of UTI as far as I can tell. Doesn't seem worth scheduling a vet visit just on the basis of her BG...annual appt is coming up in Jan. And this is so much better than this time last year, making her wear Christmas PJs (which she hated!) so she couldn't remove the Freestyle Libre!

She called my bluff! They are both being a bit picky, the new favorite food is Fancy Feast trout flakes and Sam insists on the addition of bonito flakes or ProPlan. But both are purring and cuddly....with me, not each other. We sit like this on the sofa - :cat: :banghead: :cat:.

Hope all is ok with your family and menagerie! Any new fosters? And what are the new names?!!

Yes, should have been a 0.5 units increase. That's OK, if you need another you can do that. As for what is happening, blame the antibodies. :mad: I called it "the dose going stale".

I have three wonderful boy cats: Duffy (as in Fluffy Duffy), Daniel (Daniel Tiger) and Dewey.

then I have four other kittens named Daisy, Rose, Robert and Peter.

We are all okay here. One of my kitties is having surgery on his ears Monday. He has skin cancer (we think) and will have to have the suspicious areas removed. :(:(
 
It must be a neverending challenge to come up with names! Poor Dewey needs some parentheses...how about (Decimal)? :D Robert and Peter seem like very serious names for kittens! Hope everything goes well with the surgery on Monday :bighug::bighug:

....and, miss diva decided to dip her paws back into blue at last!- :) though she hasn't eaten lots today so that may take partial credit. They're both having Saturday evening baths as I type this though I would expect them to be nagging me for dinner! (6pm)
 
The kids call him Marshall Dewey (they’ve been watching too many old episodes of Gunsmoke).

yes… Robert is a bobtail and really is called Bobby most times. Peter is the biggest and I can’t remember how he got his name anymore! Peter Pumpkin Eater… poor thing.

Rose is a lovely blue eyes Siamese bobtail.

There was a book about a library cat named Dewey (after Melvil Dewey, creator of the Dewey Decimal System… does anyone even know what that IS anymore? Would they know how to use a card catalog system? ).
