Morning ~O) and a nice blue AMPS again this morning. As long as we stay blue and green, all is well. Looking forward to Mannie kitteh Barista's coffee, wow on his "10 Hour Blend!". Mags is feeling good, especially after prezzies last evening. Detective Poo, I'm almost positive no prezzies today. Mags's bottom needs a bath, which will be a challenge, as she doesn't want that part of her body touched. I have Kitty Wipes which will have to do for the time being. I wish I could just hold that part in the shower, but we would have major screaming. Mags snuggled in bed again with me last night, but not before waking me up first in the middle of the night. Have a great day! Not sure what's up yet with me. I'll know more after Mannie's coffee. Just checking TWC earlier, it was only 48 degrees, very cold for us. Healing vines to all kitties needing them.

Beautiful blue for Maggie today. oh my on the bottom cleaning. That does not go well at our house either. I hope you get it done without much trauma to either one of you. Have a great day Ann!

Melissa, thanks, maybe some vaseline might help loosen it up. I know, terrible conversation around the coffee hour. :lol:

WOW on Mags - what great numbers, and green already. WOOT! and GO MAGGIE!!! Yesterday was good too!

I can so relate to the butt washing.... I have to do that with Mannie often enough. He doesn't like it much either... For me I use the bathroom sink. Get him on the counter, butt over the edge, lean over him to pin him down and let the water do it's thing, with the aid of a wash cloth. Clean in seconds.... Maggie - be a good girl and let your bean clean your bum.

oh wow on your 48 - that is cool for there. We are at 43, sure beats the id 30's that were here earlier this week. Enjoy your day today - I hope you will be able to get out for a walk.

Oh fun on the bum cleaning. Not something we or the kitty enjoys. Thanks for the vaseline idea, as Checks won't let me hold a wet cloth to him.

Barb, yes with the vaseline and waiting for the right time when she's not napping. You have same problem with Checkers, too? Our mornings can be really cold ith our winter season. I end up wearing a heavier jacket when going out in the mornings and also bring a lighter sweater/jacket when temps warm up.

You sure know Maggie and called it right on spot. I just did the bottom bath on Maggie over a sink, with a washcloth and warm water. Mags was a perfect angel, not even squirming out of my arms or making a squeak! :-D Afterwards, she did look for a treat which she so deserved.

Congrats on getting Miss Mags' bum washed over the sink, Ann.

Checkers only occasionally gets a dirty bum, but he doesn't like to be handled. I can do anything to his head.....brush teeth when he had 'em, clean mouth with gauzed finger, do whatever to his ears Nail clipping is a breeze.
....but he just doesn't like his body manhandled.
Clancy is a lot like Mannie. Long haired, with pantaloons, that everything sticks to. He has short legs and sometimes sits in his doodoo.
He has to be taken in the tub and bum showered with hand held shower. He fusses for a minute, but kind of likes the warm spray then. Guess he knows I'm cleaning him.
Oops, this isn't my condo...forgot :lol:

Barb & Checkers, that's ok as I love hearing about your civvies. :-D Yes, Mags even seemed to enjoy the bum bathing. I thought she'd cry and squirm, but she is such a sweet kittie. I haven't tried trimming her nails though, as I can barely trim my own! :lol: They trim her nails at Vetty every time. That's great Clancy let you and doesn't mind the bum washing.

Nice surf for Maggie. That's great she let you wash her bum. She definitely deserved the treat afterwards.
