Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy WACKY Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! They are singing Christmas Carols while they work. That is so cool. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. For my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle. ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with mint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu.

Hey my friends! BUG here... Thanks guy for bring the KTSS to help me after my vetty visit. I was so scared, ya know? and I smelled so bad.... They were really nice vetty people, but there was way too many droolers there, and they was mega loud! It was so cool to have you guys come and hang out in the treehouse withs me. I am so grateful! ~~ Bug, ex-cardio patient

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday yesterday. We did well here. It was a busy one, but fun. vetty for Bug, holiday shopping, coffee with a friend, and I even managed to vacuum the house somewhere amongst all that. All in all: productive and fun! This is what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! What a day.... Seattle as great, always is fun to see my friend , share stories, catch up. All is well in Seattle. :-D :-D  and (!!) no snow, just cold at 37. YAY! We dodged the snow bullet!
Bug cardio update: BUG DID GREAT! Despite his beans managing to mess up his appt time, and we were an hour early!  Poor Bug. He was so nervous: panting in the car on the way down,a few LOUD meow's. I managed to calm him down on the drive, just by talking with him, and a few pets and scritches throughout the drive, which was, due to commuter traffic, 45 minutes! He was such a good boy when we got there: I was able to open his door on his carrier, and pet him. He calmed down quite alot then, and Settled in for the wait. The exam was a good one. I do like this cardiologist: very thorough, explains things well. It did help having gone through it all before with Mannie. At anyrate: in his opinion Bug has a level 2/6 murmur, not a 4/6 as reported by the shelter when we adopted him. The Echo showed that he has one valve that is a trivial/mild leak in one of his atriums. All else is 100% normal. At this time there will be no meds, restrictions, etc, and a re-eval in one year, to compare with the baseline we set today. SO YAY! BUG PASSED CARDIO! His BP was rather high, but we all agree that was due to stress, the long wait, ALL THE DOGS (!!!) in the waiting room, and his being so scared. We came home, had a few snuggles, some food, and all has been forgiven. I am glad that all is truly well with him, no concerns, and that we now have a baseline for him for the future. Way to go Bug - you rock!"

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   I love LOLA... well I Love all my kitties, but I swear Lola keeps me on my toes. She was a good girl yesterday, has left the plants alone, left the papers and the magazines and the boxes alone, but it was one mad dash from one place to another. She did well with the tree - only one trip up it that I could tell, sometime during the night. When I got up one branch was askew. BUT (!!!) the tree is still standing. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D The plan is to try some ornaments on Saturday, see how that goes. That ought to be fun! I wonder about Bug on this one, as he is, amongst the three, the one that really LOVES those round things that roll on the floor. I may have two of them after the tree ornaments.    Bug really did well at the vetty. it was along drive, and he was so nervous: panting in the car for a while. And then to have me mess up the appt time, was unreal. But he was a good boy, settled into his carrier, and we waited. Lots of pets and reassurances for him that we were going home, he wasn't back at the shelter, and all would be well. He was so glad to be home! Even Elsa came to check upon him. :-D I guess I can safely say: Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I will swim while the other grandparents watch William for a few hours for me. We are due for a semi-sunny afternoon, cold, but maybe sunny. I hope they are right, and maybe we can go to a park in the afternoon, if it is warm enough. :-D William has his 6 month well being check up with his pediatrician today, and We have an early drop off time today, so... will have to see how the afternoon pans out.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Yay for Bug's vetty report!! :-D :-D :-D Well done, Bug. I bet he did think he was going back to the shelter, poor guy. That would be traumatic. Good luck with the ornaments. Do you have any plastic ones to try first?  Have a great day with your guys, Michelle.
Liz

Wonderful vetty report for Bug! Awwwww, he deserves a few ornaments to play with. We have walnut shells glued back together on our tree, Tess thinks they are great to roll all over the living room. They get the lowest branches!

I hope Bug is recovered from the vetty visit & car ride yesterday. It will be interesting to see how Bug and Lola react to ornaments on the tree. I hope William's 6 month check-up goes well today.

I found the PURRFECT solution to your Christmas Tree problem!! Full Size picture

Hi guys,
Bug, ya did good yesterday! And that is a good vetty report. We are sorry that you had to endure a car ride and a long wait, but you must know that your mamabean would never ever take you back to the shelter! You are one lucky boy!! :-D

Have a good, busy day today, Michelle. Enjoy the swimming with Nicholas. William will do very well on his check-up, I'm sure of that.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

THANK YOU Elsa!

Hey Elsa, come over to my house and bring Bug and Lola to sit on the radiators and drink hot toddies.
~Rusty

Great news on Bug's cardio! Sounds like it was a stressful trip but all over now big guy. Way to go Lola on leaving the tree standing. That is a huge accomplishment and undoubtedly took a lot of restraint. Have a great day Michelle!!

Hi all - I hope your day has been a good one. Ours has been fantastic. The energizer fish had such a great day in the pool! We were there close to two hours, most of it in the big pool, as much as we could. Nicholas so loves the water, the pool, swimming as he knows it. We had face first sitting dives today. He would have stood if they would have let him. We had underwater dives to the bottom to retrieve a toy he had tossed there. We must have done that over and over and over again for close to 30 minutes, one right after the other, no rest in between. That was darn cool. He got the toy 95% of the time. I had to help him start the dive, as we were in the center of the pool, but the rest he figured out on his own. He did flips and tosses and jump ins. he had such a good time. Played alot in the beach area too. dang - wore me out.   funny: we are sitting in the car while he devoured his lunch and he turns to me and says "I love the pool". No kidding little man, that you do. He just never tires of it. I will have to start checking out their lesson schedule... start talking that up with him, see what erin/jason want to do. Come the first of the year he is eligible. we shall see.      We spent the rest of the afternoon, the hour we had, just playing, things like wheelbarrow walks, and spins, and airplanes. oh haha, one gets dizzy spinning the kid like that. William got a few tosses in the air, hands on though, giggles from that one. it was full fun times, a decent substitute for the outdoors. I had to have the boys to their pick up point early, as William had his 6 month DR appt. We have started our weather warmup, 34 tonight, up to mid 40's tomorrow. The rains will be back: 100% tomorrow. The sunset tonight was outstanding - purples and reds, oranges and yellows, some blues for good measure. I wish we'd had time for Juanita before I had to drop the boys off. Just not in the cards today. So I watched from afar. so anyways... loved today. it was alot of fun. so missing being on the beach for that sunset . I will post the Picassa link to the photos in tomorrow's condo.

Melissa - I am relieved with Bug. it was stressful for him, but he did well, and all is well. I agree: Kudos to Lola!

Ella - I thought it was too for Bug: a relief! I kept telling him he was coming come. he had that look... like he was so afraid he wasn't. Lots of pets for him during travel. THX on the boys: swimming was awesome, and I am so sure too on William.
RUSTY! DUDE! You gots it! we are coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE the radiators. and the toddies too. :-D ~~ Elsa. ppsttttt tell you bean I'll bring more ~O) too!

Hi Chris - I LOVE THAT!!!     It will work!

Hi Carla - He has, and is back to his old self today. it was such along ride for him, and he really did do well with that. THX on William - I am waiting to hear, but I suspect all was well. YUPP! ornaments will be FUN!

Hi Ann - THX, it was such a good report, and I am relieved. I think so too.... he do doubt will help himself. The ornaments will be history.  I can so see him rolling them all over the floor. he does that now with whatever balls he can find.  I so remember your walnut shells - awesome idea!

Hi Liz - I agree: YAY!!! I know on the shelter.... I think he thought that - he had been to sloe of them, according to his history. So I spent alot of time reassuring him all was well. Poos guy was shaking in his carrier. Ye on the plastic stuff. I actually do (holdovers from BJ!)- a few, that and alot of fabric ones too. THX on today - it was great!
