His leg wound thing is a scab now. Vet says to finish the antibiotic. Leroy may need his leg kept wrapped forever so he doesn't rip it open:rolleyes:

Good lord I know that feeling. I was feeding an outside cat and someone bit her in ear. I took her in and after vet cleaned the abcess, then I had to keep her indoors to tend to it. Yuck. EVERY day she'd get the scab scraped off and it's have to clean it and reapply ointment. Took about 1 month for it to completely heal over.

Leroy had surgery to fix the hole a few months ago. It was only a temporary fix until he got it open again :facepalm: I've been on FDMB for years and have never seen anyone with a similar chronic wound issue with their diabetic cat.
