Good Morning LL. DH here. Glad to hear Garland is doing better this morning, and sending positive thoughts and prayers for Tom.

Another decent AMPS for Miss Gracie. She was at 320 when I went to bed so she came down nicely overnight. The morning routine went well, fuds eaten with gusto, and 4 of 5 P's are in place. All three furballs were in bed with me this morning, and the boys were actually asleep, not staring at me intently. I was starting to think I was in a Stephen King book for a while there.

So today is the 6th cycle of the bounce (if thats what it is) for Gracie. If she doesn't get with the program today we will take her up to sk1.25 tonight. She hasn't had a high hard bounce like this in some time, so she made need the increase regardless. Or it could be I've been doing something wrong, although the shots have looked good to my semi-trained eye.

Marje is on her way home from TX this morning and we have all missed her very much. Can't wait till she gets here. She said her Moms move-in went as well as could be expected yesterday. As I said, she can be a difficult person to deal with at times (her mom, not Marje). :lol:

Nice to see Gracie come down overnight. So glad Marje is on her way home and hope she has a safe flight, too. That had to be a difficult situation with everything that was happening with her Mom, so glad the move went okay. Scritches to Gracie and the boys.

Looking good there Mike - A decent start for Gracie. I hope she sees the lower floors. Good luck with the dosecrease. look out Gracie - more juice for you!

YAY that Marje is on her way home. I am sure she has missed everyone there too. It is good that all went well with her moms's move-in. Those are never easy, and I hope her mom will in time welcome the change. have a safe trip home Marje.

Too funny on the boys... at least they let you sleep. :-D

did you pay attention, gracie? the threat has been issued! better numbers or more juice is coming.

psst mike - make sure you leave your condo open so she can read that. sometimes the threat works. :-D

Mike, I'm glad you made it through another day safely! I'm sure you're looking forward to giving up your BIC responsibilities. :smile: Gracie, no need to stay up there. Come on down to welcome your mama home.

Hi Mike - I'm glad the boys weren't contemplating murder this morning! :lol: Just a thought here - I'm wondering if you should give Gracie another cycle or two after Marje gets home before raising her. Some kitties are very sensitive to change, and maybe the fact that Marje is gone is contributing to her higher numbers (or failure to clear the bounce, if that's what it is). Several of my cats are stressed by even minor changes. Muffin once got a UTI (which are often caused by stress) just because my DBF (at the time) went on vacation for a week...and then came back :lol: Kibby's gotten stressed over the Christmas tree going up in the past. Anyway, just a thought. It would give you two a bit of time to enjoy each other, as well, without having to worry about and test Gracie so much. ;-)

Hi Mike (and Marje, when you get home),
Anne & Muffin's advice sounds like a good plan: give Gracie a chance to get back to her routines before raising her dose.
I'm so glad that Tobey (and Gus) didn't murder you in your sleep, Mike!! You can always offer Tobes a "cimmamum" cupcake to convince him that you ought to be kept around!!

FWIW - Anne and Ella both have a good point - maybe let tings settle once Marje is home, see if Gracie is just stressed by her being gone, thus the higher BG.

And welcome home Marje! I hope you had a good trip home.

Evening all. DH still here. Marje got back fine early this afternoon. She looked like she had walked all the way back from TX, so I sent her to bed and she has been napping on and off all day. They worked their butts off getting her mom moved and settled so I think she needed the day off. It sure is good to have her back. Tobey is ecstatic.

We talked about the dose and appreciate everyones advice. But looking at her spreadsheet and her apparent lack of stress the last few days we decided to raise her a drop to sk1.25u. She wasn't really doing well on the fat1u before Marje left, doing one ok cycle followed by a couple of high bounce cycles, so we think she needs more juice. If she proves us wrong and goes low we can always use the increase as a kick start and take her back down.

I'm going to get some food in Sleeping Beauty and will check back in later.

Welcome back, Marje!! I know you must be exhausted from moving your DM and all the stress involved with that. Mike took such great care of the kids while you were gone and I know they all are happy you are home. Good luck on the doscrease.
