Good morning :)

After the blues last night +7 was green. I put the smaller litter box in the bedroom but (finally!) he just slept through the night. I interrupted him at +7 for a test, he ate a full plate and went straight back to sleep :joyful:

This morning he gave poo poo pidu poop :joyful:

Finally broke the spell of blue morning with a green. 2nd cycle on drop dose.

Maybe his +3 is a late food bump if his digestion is slow? I know that's not typical and I'm certainly not a digestion expert. Or does he get other meds with his morning shot? He seems to go higher at that +3 frequently and then always comes back down.

Hmmm, +3 is a mystery but it does appear to be a bump from something.
And it seems happen fairly frequently. Some cats do raise their BG in response to food quite a bit.
Maybe to test him at +1 and +2 to see what's going on?

Yes he seems to go higher up lately at +3. I was hoping he'll come down at +4. I'll see what he gives me at +6.

He doesn't take any medications.

He did poo in the lower box. It was a bit mucky at the end and left him mucky a bit. I really hope there's nothing else coming down that line... I'm a bit anxious. We've been with diarrhoea before and it wasn't easy.

I'm wondering if it could be that he's bouncing from the low yesterday. Also, he didn't poo until this morning which is more than 24 hours so perhaps his body is showing it. Theories at work :banghead::(

Testing at +1 and 2 is a good idea! I'll start doing that to get a better sense of what's happening between shot time and this +3 peak

Hi Shelly, hoping by now in the day Fistuk is showing what he’s doing. Glad he pooped. Always great when things are moving well.
As was mentioned earlier, maybe because he had gone over a day with no action, his body was stressed. He’s so sensitive.
And a nice green Amps, too.
Let’s hope the nearby litterbox helps him out.
Paws crossed. We all need some luck with all the nuances.

Hugs received, Staci :kiss: Need them today. I don't know what's up with Fistuk BG but something's up.
It feels like since we've come down to 0.10/drop he's a bit all over the place and very unexpected.
I almost called the vet today but then saw the greens and didn't. I guess I'll need to tomorrow.
I took him to the toilet last night before he went to bed and I think that helped. I'll try the same today.

Maybe he just needs a little more time. He may not be quite ready. We have to follow their lead. You will. You observe everything so try to just know you are watching and doing everything.
Definitely try to take him to his box again tonight. Show him the way. Maybe it’s retraining. Who really knows.
We just keep trying every day!!

I think his back legs are bothering him. I uped his B12 dose and I hope it'll make a difference. I try to get him to play a bit with a string to get him moving more. It went ok yetrday but today I got a completely blank face, like "are you crazy woman? why are you waving this string in front of me, I know it's just a string" while he sat in his Buddha position ;)

I hope that increased B12 will help.
Ivy doesn’t really like to play, per se. If I dangle a string or toy in front of her she growls. Like, leave me the hell alone, would you??
So I understand that look Fistuk gave you :rolleyes:

That’s funny. I can imagine Ivy looking at you with those words running through her mind :joyful:
Fistuk used to play. He use fly! It’s since FD that he’s become quite heavy and slow. A few times he had his flying moves. But it’s become rare. I have the most funny video of him when you can see his flying moves :woot::woot:

When Ivy was a kitten she was so bad. We have a wooden natural fiber shade in my bedroom. She used to somehow climb up them. My husband wasn’t too thrilled. But I just laughed. I thought it was hysterical. (You can tell the difference in our personalities by this story) :kiss::kiss:

Ivy can do anything she wants. She’s my little princess. (she has destroyed sofas and many chairs with her claws. Shredding them.) We just gave up! lol. ;)

Now she mostly sleeps. She’s an old lady :kiss:
