12/11, Bell, AMPS 105 +2 69 +4 60 +5 122 +6 97 +8 111 PMPS 198

Thank you all so much for helping me (hopefully) solve the mystery of what was going on with Bell's numbers. It is such a relief. I am curious if she decides to bounce tonight or if this dose will pull her back down.

I had to work all night last night to make up for all the vet stuff yesterday, and Bell has had ENOUGH today

I did get the liquid Clavamox and it is much easier on her. She still hates it, but it is one and done instead of having to pill her multiple times.

The vet mentioned that the onsior was for pain as UTIs can be painful? I will be done with that tomorrow

So glad Bell is back on track! :bighug::bighug::bighug: Bounce sounds very logical to me, after she didn't see blue and green numbers for some time. I hope she comes down gently and you can sleep tonight. So glad you found the issue. Poor Bell. Did you notice any symptoms?

Thank you Heike! Hopefully she comes right back down!

I’ve never dealt with a UTI before so I am not sure what to look for… I know excess urination is a symptom but I attributed that to her being above the renal threshold. I was looking online and it seems like they make urine strips to detect issues. Wondering if those are worthwhile to catch issues like this/make sure the UTI is resolved

I heard the strips are not really reliable in cats. Bringing some urine to the vet is the best option. When Binie had the UTI, she licked her private parts a lot, I think because she was in pain. And there was a urine smell on her because she lost little drops of urine all the time. And as Cecile said, peing outside the box is a sign. I hope Bell is perfectly fine again soon! I see she starts coming down slowly. Go Bell, go! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
