WCR Powder is full of catitude today. He has had it with testing cat(2)_steam Jumping off of testing place and when I brought him back he kept trying to sneak away while I got the strip ready so I gave him a dried liver treat and lots and lots of love both of which he ate right up. Thought we were all good until he tried the great escape while I drew up the insulin. :evil: More liver and love before and after. I guess he's showing me he feels better. I tried to tell him he needs to kick his pancreas into gear then we won't be poking so much and no jabies either. I hope he has some influence over that tempermental organ. :lol: Today we have 4 Ps he is preening up a storm today twice already.

Hope everyone has a great day with blues and yellows everywhere. Healing vines to all the recovering kitties.

That is not a bad amps! I'm glad Powder is feel so good, but I hope he'll be easier for testing and shooting. I hope you get to see some greens today. Have a great Furday!

Decided to give him a break on testing before I went tbp knowing it would be influenced by food since it was only +1.5. I left 1/4 can ff% mm and he still had some of breffis 5% and 2%. DD fed 1/4 can 2% ff at +5. Still had some food from am. I was quite pleased to see that 160 when I came home. I still sort of am anxious/excited each time I test wanting to see low numbers. He was at least blue most of the day and might have even been green. So if he stays blue until PMPS it will be awesome.
Then I remembered I'm going away next Fri for 10 days. :roll: It took about 10 days for him to come back. I'm hoping not to have to decrease so much this time. DD still won't test. He was so red when I got back :sad:

I hope Powder does well for you when you go away next week. Have a nice time visiting your son in Smyrna. The weather is actually supposed to get very cold here the beginning of next week but maybe by the end of the week it will warm up a bit for your visit.

Well not the blue I was hoping for but did squeak under 300. I'll take it :smile: He was very hungry. He stuck around ok for the testing which i gave him dried liver for. The moment I reached for the pen he was off like a shot. No pun intended :smile: He doesn't run away but starts begging for food. Of course he got his insulin which he very graciously allowed me to do. He's just too funny.
Thanks Ele I think he is feeling better overall and he just wanted to let me know I can't take his cooperation for granted. :lol:
Georgia that is just my luck. One May when I came down it was in the high 90's by 9:00. ohmygod_smile Funny thing was my son said we should go to the Smokey Mountains where it would be cooler. We get out of the car and a thermometer at a business reads 103 degrees. :lol:
Michelle you are so right about that. At first I was like wth is wrong with you? He's never done that even in the beginning. Then I was ok with the change knowing who he really is and he was just being Powder. ;-)
Tena I told Powder that the Kitties were going to keep an eye on him while I was gone. After he got done jumping around flip_cat flip_cat meowing No pokiesover and over. He was excited and said well come on over any time and we can have fun teasing that goofy dog Trina heh heh heh. :twisted: No more quick routine he's going to make me give lots of treats and love. Cute Curry does that cat_pet_icon You don't suppose.....? Nah couldn't be or could it :lol:

Kathy...very nice blue day for Powder and he even has a yellow PMPS.....some days we just gotta really appreciate those,eh? I wish I understood why, some days, they pop up from a beautiful number at +9 or on other days (like today with Gracie), they are up all day and then sink at PMPS....I'm gonna have to buy a wig :lol: :lol:
