Good morning, I hope you are doing well. Any idea why yesterday's morning cycle was flat and really never moved much from the AMPS number? I know Yoyo got his shot, it wasn't a furshot. I haven't seen that kind of cycle before.

Flat numbers are typical of a bounce, and then they can drop quickly when clearing the bounce. I hope he stops bouncing into pinks soon. The longer he spends in blue, the less bouncing he should do.
Hope he drops into blue with a bit of green mixed in today

It was such strange how his numbers yesterday would not move from his AMPS #. Of course I questioned myself....did I give the insulin correctly... but I know his fur was not wet as I always check after giving him his shot. And I saw that his #'s didn't jump real high after food so I figured he did get his insulin correctly but something had to be going on.Flat numbers are typical of a bounce, and then they can drop quickly when clearing the bounce. Sometimes cats just have flat days. It can be when they are trying to clear a bounce and don't quite make it or it can indicate the following cycle will show action (lower numbers).

Well, looks like my boy is doing it again today! At least I am learning from this and hopefully none of it is my fault in giving the insulin to him.

No. We only got some flurries. Other parts of WV got a lot of snow.
