Day 2 @ 2.25 Units Lantus

Good Morning.....last night Yoyo got me up at 1:30am crying and telling me he wanted out of the bedroom. I had just got to bed an hour earlier so I was half asleep while I'm trying to figure out his problem. I picked him up and put him under the covers with me but he still wasn't comfortable and he continued to meow and meow so I let him roam the house last night which is unusal for him. But he quieted down and found a spot near his two other buddies- his doggie friends. Everyone was happy and WE all then slept.
I just get alarmed when he starts this meowing/crying thing because then I start worrying if his thyroid is off again. I have decreased his thyroid meds back in November as he was border line low. Now I wonder if his T4 has gone back up. He needs blood work again at the end of this month or beginning of January to recheck his kidney functions, RBC, Hematocrit and T4. Always something to worry about!!:woot:

Nice surfing for Yoyo. Sorry he woke you up. I hope you can get a nap in. I hope his thyroid meds are at the right level.
 
I hope Yoyo has settled down from his different ordeal last night and won't try a repeat. Sometimes dogs really can give comfort! I hope you don't worry too much about his thyroid levels since you'll be checking again soon anyway. By what you said, it sounds like the extra meowing has been a hint of something off before.

Oh Yoyo! Why do you need to do all that at night? Just wanted to go sleep with your buds, huh? I hope that's all it was...

Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight...amazing how critical our sleep is to us :)
