Good afternoon!

It's another gray drizzly day here but warmer at least. Yucky & depressing. I have plenty to do to keep my mind off it but it just puts a pall over the day. Don't you hate gray days?

Racci is a little high today but having a great day anyway. She had a nice poop, ate a little less than usual last night and this morning surprisingly since she was low last night. She's been playful and happy & is napping on the window seat now.

I'm going to try to do some more visiting again. TTYL

Nice blue for Racci. Playful and happy is the best way to be, along with the napping. Oh that would be nice. Sorry about your gray days. I don't mind them sprinkled in every now and then but don't like the long streaks of gray.

The long streaks of gray are definitely worse than the short ones! :lol: If it was up to me though, it would be warm and sunny every day. :smile:

Racci just woke up from her nap & is looking over at me. I'm hoping sh'll let me wait till +4 today to test and not be too hungry and rush me like she has been. She's calling me now. I had set the chair so she can get down herself but she wants me to bring her down. I'm waiting to see if she tries to do it. :lol: I think she still needs moral support. BBS.

Racci refused to eat her lunch after her +3 so she wound up going too low at +5! I guess she's earned her 1st dose decrease since the raise but I'm loathe to do it since she's not always low now.

Oh boy Racci, what a little surprise there! I know what you mean about not wanting to take the reduction. That happened to us several days ago - Leo just plunged from nowhere but I didn't take it since he'd not been in green on that dose but once. He just tanked on me tonight after our drive. Boy they just go out of nowhere sometimes. Come back up Racci!

Hi Lisa & Sienne!

I Know what you mean Lisa. It's like you know they're not ready for it even if they dropped this time. She was hungry so I fed her LC wih a few MC treats and she came up and stayed up. I knew it was just from not eating.

That's a good suggestion Sienne. I think I will do that. I'll wait and see what she does. I'd feel more comfortable that she was ready for the decrease that way. She just had a yellow and that is not what Racci usually does when she's well under control.

Wow with the 25 for Racci! :shock: :mrgreen: Hi Melanie, we just thought a check was in order to see if Racci was still at the Green Lagoon and see she is there! Mags will join later hopefully. Good luck with what you decide. She's doing great.

Oops!! I see it's a 40, not a 25!

Did Maggie go back up to visit her other friends? Racci was wondering what happened to her. :-D Maybe she'll be able to wait for Mags to join her.

Racci is getting there again, I hope. She still has a way to go though.

No, it wasn't 25 thankfully. 40 is low enough. :lol:

Hi Melanie - I did what Sienne suggested - last night was Leo's second drop below 50 for this dose, but I took the decrease this morning instead of waiting for 3. I started microdosing instead, splitting the 0.25 in half. He could still bounce below 50 (he dumps shed in a big way) but sometimes the reductions don't hold. We'll see. I understand you wanting to count to 3. Good luck!

I think that was the way to go. I would have done the same. I shave Racci's dose a lot. She's another one that doesn't hold decreases well. Good luck with the decrease! I hope it holds. :-D
