Yesterday was.... a GREAT day in MannieLand. :-D :-D We had a green amps - been a while since I have been able to say that... :?  Sure was nice. :-D :-D I was not too surprised to see him shoot up to a mid yellow at +1/+2: it seems to be the pattern these days... what with the addition of pill pockets to get the clavamox in him, plus the other meds. He did bring it down to a nice blue, where he did surf for a bit. All in all an OK AM cycle. The PM cycle was.... "let's see how many cans of fuds I can get my bean to open before I actually eat one"   shesssshhhhh.... good thing Elsa will eat all the rejects! Mannie does want to eat, he is just very picky about what it is. Darn Clavamox! only 5.5 more days to go! YAYAYYAYAYAYAY! :-D I've also added some live culture yogurt during the day to settle his tummy and deal with the liquid-poo that showed up the other day. If it's not one thing it's another.... I'm grateful that Mannie loves dairy. :-D So onward we go... hoping for a blue day, maybe sprinkled with a few greens. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :-D Weather yesterday was so typical for us: gray drizzle mixed with fog, in the 30's day. A snuggle up and stay warm day. Which is exactly what Mannie did. He made one trip outside, abbreviated version, Out the door, a once around on the deck, a quick survey of NannerVille, a distance perimeter check, and back in he came. I think the whole trip took maybe 2 minutes.  It was an immediate return to his bed. He was waited on hand and foot, in his opinion, as I was trying to get some yogurt in him... all was special delivery to his bed. I may regret that....  This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I'm not too sure what will be here today. Errands are done, tree is up, decorations done, shopping done.... I hope to be able to get out for hike. I may need to help my son with his kitty. He was in a fight a week or so ago, ended up with a facial abscess and a ulcerated cornea. The abscess is healing well, the cornea not so much. At least not was well as the vet thinks it should. so... of to an eye specialist for him. if need be I may be the one taking him in. Might be a very educational day....

Hey everybody!!! What's up??? I thinks we need to visit the dunes, for some dunes sliding and dune buggies... I so hope that it is not raining there... Tess? Dunes good to go? PLEASE say yes.... well, back up plan! snowboarding! and Skiing! and ice skating! And somewhere in the middle of all that we can do some grillin',. Maybe some salmon burgers, and chicken kabobs! YUMMMMMMMM! You guys in? Let me know - I am ready for anything! ~~ Mannie

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200

Sooo close to blue Mannie. Nice greens yesterday. Yay! We all need days like that. Brrr on the cold. DH is in southern Cal this week and Seattle next week and it was quite the process trying to pack for two kinds of weather. He has to be outside at both places on the military bases so it is even more challenging. Mannie sounds like he has the right idea and, yes, you may live to regret serving him in bed. It's all worth it though. Oh wow on having everything done! I haven't put up any decorations and am really thinking I won't. Of course with Nicholas you really need to. We have it really lucky on our shopping and don't have to buy for anyone but DS.

Good luck with DS's kitty. That sounds painful. I hope it all goes well. Have a great day Michelle!!

Hey Mannie! The dunes sound awesome. Can we Tess? Salmon burgers are awesome. I'm in. Pick me up, k? - Tarragon

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) And so I told him...one point to blue. Hopefully this means he will make it there today, once we get past the +2 spike that seems to be the norm these days. ;-) OH WOW on DH, and the two very different climates... we will be cool, and soggy, wet expected all next week. Bring rain gear! duh.... You are probably right on the serving him in bed... at this point whatever it takes to get the fuds in him. yupp on the Christmas decor - I would not have done it as soon as I did, or as "much" as I did if it weren't for Nicholas. He will love it all - such a wondrous time for the young ones... Nice on your shopping! What I would give to have only one to buy for. and thx on DS's kitty - I so hope it all goes well.

Mr T!!! DUDE!! let's plan on it then... off to the dunes! I will picks you up - OK to do a few wheelies? ~~ Mannie

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200

Good Morning Michelle & Mannie,

Mannie, barista: Ethiopian is my favorite espresso! Hurry and get here!! That was a good day yesterday. And today is starting out well, too. Rusty wants you back in the lagoon before the day is over, so work on it, oK? I hope that the yogurt will do it's work. When Edward was eating Greek yogurt with live cultures to counteract the antibiotics he developed quite taste for it and we both have some every day (I put it on my peanut-butter and jelly sandwich and it is delicious).

Michelle, now that all your decorating and chores are done, you can take a hike or a walk today (if the weather cooperates and after you get back from the vet with your son's kitty). I hope that the kitty's eye will be OK. Sending him/her healing vines.

Have a good one.

Ella & Rusty

Yo Mannie, the dunes and SUNSHINE! YES!! I'm on my way.
Rusty

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +2 210

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the yogurt - I so hope so. Appy is still a bit off, we still have some of that picky eater, but if it helps the the LB stuff I will be so happy. Poor kitty.... I lvoe the thought of that yogurt on your PB&J :-D I so hope so on the hike today, even if it is just local here at home. THX too on my son's kitty - paws crossed big time there.
Auntie Ella! Really on the Ethiopian??? WOO HOO! I will brings you two then and some for Uncle Edward! I will do my best n teh lagoon.... My map to the lagoon is really not so good... it has all these detours... but I shall prevail! I SWEAR!! ~ ~Mannie, kitteh barista

Rusty - DUDE! We is on then! I will picks you up, or meet me here, then off to get T. We can do wheelies in his driveway! SWEET!!!!  I so need SUNSHINE!!! ~~ Mannie

Mr T! AWESOME!!!! Wheelies it is. I so lubs wheelies.... :-D :-D :-D My bean sounds like your bean - what is up with them anyways.... ~~ Mannie

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200

Morning Michelle, I think Mannie's "10 hour coffee" has really caught on. ~O) I love it, Mannie. That's great on the Greek Yogurt and Mannie liking it. Mags likes it, too. At one time I was sneaking Miralax in it! I hope you get your hike in today. Lately we have fog til late mornings. Have a great day and hope Mannie gets in some yard patrol.
Mannie, thanks a bunch for my coffee delivery. I just opened the door and saw you coming round the corner. The bestest, Auntie Ann

Dunes and salmon burgers today, oh boy, can't wait. I think the weather should be good if Tess has the same weather as me. See ya at same place, Mags

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +2 210

Great start to the morning, Mannie. The blue floor beckons. Michelle, have you tried fortiflora with Mannie? Maybe he doesn't like it, I can't remember.
Liz

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +2 210

210 @ +2 - wow! not much of a food spike. Perhaps we will make the blue grotto after all. :-D

Morning Liz - I hope so too on the blues. GO Mannie! Not yet on the FortiFlora. I plan on picking some of that up today. I haven't used it before, but it is worth a try. Anything to get this LB etc stuff under better control. the poor guy! he acts fine and normal, except for the fuds, LB stuff. The yogurt does seem to help with the tummy stuff, not too sure yet on the LB/poo stuff, though I expect that would take a day or two to make a difference.

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) LOL, and so it seems with Mannie's 10 hour energy coffee. I too am glad that Mannie likes the yogurt, and I so hope it helps him out some. I feel bad for him - it is so obvious that he wants these to be over with too. We have fog this AM too, though they say it should be partial sun right now. huh? - they need to look out the window! I too hope to be able to get ut this afternoon.
Auntie Ann - yupp! it is a big hit - you beans are always so sleepy.... what is up withs that? I Am SO GLAD that's you like it. Hey - I see you in the doorway! heeheehee - this is so cool! ~~ Mannie, kitteh barista

Maggie - Cool huh! It sounds like we are a go, though I thinks we may have to wake Tess up... ok, picks you up. almost got the salmon burgers prepped. YUM! See you at the curb. ~~ Mannie

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +2 210

'Morning Michelle. That's not a bad food spike at all. Mannie should be coming down from that, nicely. Good that Mannie likes the yogurt.
Checks also loves dairy. I forgot about Greek yogurt. Think I'll get some. I sometimes give lowfat sour cream, cause that's what I have.
Oh boy, do I know about all the open fud cans. Lucky that Elsa will eat them. My civvies won't.

Have a wonderful day Michelle. I hope you get that walk in.

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +2 210, +4 156

156 @ +4. WOOT!!! We are blue. Well done Mannie. :-D

Hi Barb - and so he did - we now are on the blue floor. YAY! I too am glad that he likes the yogurt - a relief, for sure. Now I just hope it works... :? I know on the open cans... omg: what a pain, isn't it? You are so right. It is a plus that Elsa will eat them too. At least then I don't end up throwing out too many.... ;-) THX on today - I hope I do too!

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +2 210, +4 156, +6.3 186, +9 232

232 @ +9 well, back to yellow, out typical +9/10 spike. Come on back to the blues Mannie!

Hi Mary - LOL on the go bubba!  THX, it has been a decent one - even with all that stuff in his system, as for sure. hugs were dispensed. THX too on my son's kitty - he goes in on Wednesday, the was the earliest they could squeeze him in.
Auntie Mary - SWEEETTTTTT! Thanks you! I am so glad you likes it. I will be sure and tell Oliver that the evil monster is gone and all is safe on the home front. POk, gots to go! We kitties are busy! ~~ Mannie, kitteh barista

Hi Ann - THX ion my smilie!! these days you gotta get that thing in when you can   He's more apt to go up and than surf... 5 more days of these darn AB's. THX on the kitty - guess wehave to wait a day or two to find out. aiyee on that. They were to busy tot take him today. shesshhh! LOL, I wouldn't be done with the Christmas stuff either if it hadn't been a necessity.

TESS - AWESOME!! Dunes it is then! I am so there. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Hang gliding too - woo hoo! I made lots of salmon burgers so we can pig out all day long. :-D ~~ Mannie

OLIVER - stay cl;ear!! Them machines are monsters, I SWEAR! Just ask Tess. My bean has one of them too.... i dunno. She tries to get my nanners with it too! So So uncool. Wheelies it is - picks you up! ~ ~Mannie

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +2 210, +4 156, +6.3 186, +9 232

Yumm on the tea infusion today Mannie, very much appreciated. ~O) ~O) And what's with the rush away from blue, it's a very nice color on you. I'm hoping that's just the end of cycle spike and you'll be back again soon.

Healing vines to DS's kitty. I grew up with a kitty that had to have an eye removed because it got so bad. Of course, back in the day there weren't specialty vets either. I know people who've gone to the eye specialist vet, and it is indeed very educational, especially if you get to see them using their equipment.

Thanks for the reminder on the greek yoghurt. Neko loves dairy and hasn't been allowed any since FD but maybe that's OK. I'm almost out of the PetDophilus I got in Fort Collins and it isn't available here so maybe I can use yoghurt as an alternative.

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +2 210, +4 156, +6.3 186, +9 232

What a nice day for Mannie, hope you get a good pmps too. Weather sounds delightful, lol, I don't blame Mannie for wanting to snuggle up! We are having some high 70's today, pretty nice! Hope all is well!

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +4 156, +6.3 186, +9 232, +11 222

222 @ +11. A nice steady yellow surf. Not too bad....

Hi Wendy - I hope so too on the blues. At last it was only a low yellow.... THX on DS's kitty - he has to wait til Wednesday to be seen - and even that was difficult to get. HE really wanted to get that cat in today... well we will hope for the best. For now he continues with the meds they ave given him. I guess this eye specialist serves OR, ID etc, just not local - they have pets flown/brought in there. I can see why they are so busy... I'd love to be able yo see what they do. I am with you on the dairy stuff - Mannie gets very little of it, but I guess it is one of the things that they recommend to deal with tummy issues and AB's. It was hard to find one that was low carb and minimal sugar. well he will only be on it for a short while so hopefully this will be OK.
Auntie Wendy - you are so welcome! I am glad that you liked it! I dunno on the blues... I will try and get back there - I promise! ~~ Mannie, kitteh barista

Hi Michelle - THX, it has been a good one, and so hoping on pmps. and that appy will not be an issue.... ;-) Nice on your high 70's! Oh please send us some of that!

Re: 12/10 Mannie AMPS 200, +4 156, +6.3 186, +9 232, +11 222

Hi Michelle - I've been away and missed Mannie's 10-hour's - what a wonderful new offering on the Barista's menu! Sorry to hear about the kitty - we had a specialist for Molly - she has the herpes virus and it manifests in her with ulcers that healed well, but we're always on guard. The specialist was more $$$ but a really wonderful woman. I hope the one you see is as well. Nice job on the blue, but time to get back there Mannie! Surf the dunes back to Blue!

I hope Mannie's appy gets better and he stops being so picky. It looks like he is headed back to the blue floor. Sending healing prayers & vines to your son's kitty.

Re: 12/10 Mannie PMPS 200

200 @ PMPS - YAY!!! That yellow sure looks blue to me. And he ate well tonight too - what a relief. :-D :-D 4.5 days to go on the Clav.... :?

Hi Lisa - Thanks for telling me about Molly, and that she healed well. This ulcer was due to a cat fight. I know my son is so worried about his kitty, and having to wait two more days to have his seen is tough. It's good to know though that these ulcers can and do heal. I will pass that on to him. THX on Mannie - almost blue tonight! Maybe....
Auntie Lisa - I am so glad that you like the 10 hour energy - it is very popular! You beans sure must needs it, huh.... :-D I will do my best to be a blue kitty tonight. I try real hard! ~ Mannie, kitteh barista

Hi Carla - ME TOO! :-D I am sure that it is AB related, and once those are done we should be back on track. Paws crossed!!! This picky eater stuff is very trying... THX too on my son's kitty - it is very appreciated.

Re: 12/10 Mannie PMPS 200, +2 175

175 @ +2. And back to the blues!!! We are headed down, and all I can think is: I am so glad he is eating tonight.... a huge relief.

Re: 12/10 Mannie PMPS 200, +2 175, +3 205

205 @ +3. Looks like no dive tonight...we are off on an another flat yellow surf. There is a huge part of me that is very glad... :?

213 @ +4.7. observation confirmed: flat yellow surfin'. rest well Mannie! And thank you for eating tonight. :-D

Hi Ann - THX, and NI NI. that they shall, come down tomorrow.
