I hope Johnny had a nice surf last night, though the pink morning is always a little disappointing. Tonight, Brian shot a fat .25u (versus just the .25 we've done for the last six days). I wasn't consulted, but the rational was that we're home, it's the weekend and more tests are able to be done. I'm not convinced that every day is a bounce either, but we'll see what happens tonight. Let me know if this was a premature decision to make!

Johnny seems happy and is playing. For a little treat tonight, the kitties got a little FF Appetizer (salmon) after the +2 test. Johnny cleaned his plate in record time! Johnny is still eating Chopped Grill really well (only thing we can serve), but his brother Fritz is sick of it. He keeps covering up his plate with the towel underneath that's serving as a placemat. He digs all around and flops the towel over the plate as many times as possible. It's a definite statement. After a while, he'll come back and eat it. He's a big boy, so he's not hurting for it, except maybe emotionally.

remember -- even though you are home to test this weekend, the fat won't kick in for a few cycles.
I'm sure that since he was recently OTJ, you are anxious to get back there. I personally would of stayed w/ the .25 for a bit, cause you were having some nice numbers. That said, it is your cat, you know him best.
I hope the fat helps.

Can you add to your side notes, what the results of the vet's b/w and hopefully UA and C&S were for those who did not see your post about the vet visit a week or two back? thanks. His numbers do look suspicious.
Has he had a dental ?

have you or do you feed several small meals a day? that might help keep him at a more even keel.

glad he is a happy cat ! so sad his friend is "starving " I'm sure he's getting lots of TLC to make up for his menu choice !
