Yippee for a blue morning! Yeah! It's been almost 3 weeks since we had a blue morning. Oh wait, that's when he went up all day to red in the evening. Hmm. Well, never mind. I'm going to enjoy this hour until the +1. :smile: Which is now. Zener is feeling good this morning. He is much less wobbly because of his lower numbers. It's a little colder this morning so he didn't stay outside very long. Thinking of Jill and DH, sending them healing energy and strength for their journey. Have a great Fursday LL!

He is a bit below AMPS @+2 so we could be seeing some action. Lately he likes to drop about now, so I increased his carbs a little to 10% for this mini meal. I can monitor until near +6 so we shall see where the numbers go. :?

Hi Liz and now Anne, taking over! You two do great with your schedules and monitoring Zener, and he is one lucky kitty! Yay for blue and so glad to hear he is feeling good. I can picture Zener outside and then running back in with it being too cold! :-D I sure don't blame him. Have a great day.

Hi Ann, thanks for your kind words! It's now snowing and both kitties are tucked away in favorite sleeping spots. We have 1-2 feet :shock: in our forecast starting today through the weekend. So, kitty path shoveling may be in order! :lol:

And we're still blue!

ZENER! BLUE! BOOTIFUL! Almost as Bootiful as YOU!

Anne/Liz - want to share a huge smile with you again today. Remember, before Peanut's mouth problem, she just refused to eat any soft food. That's actually why we still have her. We lost both her parents and sister within 3 months of each other thanks to China and putting melamine in food in 2007. NOW, last night and this morning both, she comes RUNNING up TO ME waiting for me to set down her new soft food. She now just LOVES it. As best I can tell, her mouth is healed, there's no swelling left that I can see from about 2 feet away. It gives me such a warm, fuzzy wonderful feeling to know she's now getting the vitamins and food that's good for her elderly body.

Two Feet of SNOW! That will keep you busy! Zener, you'd better get out today while you still can! (Rusty wanted to come back in this morning, too. He waited a bit for squirrels to show up, but they didn't cooperate.)

@ Lyresa - we are so happy Peanut is loving the new fuds! How wonderful for Peanut to get such loving elder care! :-D

@Roni - we sure enjoyed those lovely greens and blues, & expected a bounce. Time for flannel lined patience pants now. ;-)

@Ella - the kitties are not fond of the snow, but love the bird watching. Our squirrels are very sassy with huge beautiful tails. :razz:

Hi guys .. I like these numbers much better on zener then those unmentionables! Did you say FEET of snow? Yikes! We just got our first snowfall the other day and it's nearly gone now .. Hope you guys have a great afternoon!

Nice blues today for Zenner, but tell Mr Liver there is nothing to be panicked about! I hope this bounce is a short one.

@Devon - we liked the numbers last night and the first part of his AM cycle too! We have paws crossed they return soon. And yes, 1-2 feet was predicted but so far not so much, only about 4" but the heavy stuff is supposed to come overnight. :-D

@Ann - we hope it is a short bounce too, Zener must have a very sensitive liver! So far, not enough snow for tunnels. :roll:

@Melissa - I do believe Zener's liver may be a drama queen. But don't tell Tillie, our civvie, she is the QOE (queen of everything)! :lol: Snow plows just went by, not used to that sound yet this year! :shock:

@Celi - what a hilarious photo! Our kitties do not have to do the snow plow routine. Liz and I shovel paths from the back porch to their favorite spots in the yard. Zener would love to do the snow plow jump routine, maybe in another lifetime? :lol:

So far our "big" storm prediction has been a bust. And, the streets are icy, a rare occurrence here at high dry altitude of 7000 feet. The two major interstates are closed because of accidents, most usually they occur at the transition zones at wherever snow level is - usually driving too fast for conditions. We have plenty of kitty food and test strips, so let it snow! :lol:
