Crazy days here!!! I did reduce Trix yet again this morning (from 1.5 last night to 1.25 this morning - see her SS for all the reducies/BCS/adjustments we've made in the last few days), and yet again, I'm not sure if I consider this morning's shot a BCS or a permanent reducie. The factors that came in to play with this morning's reducie decision were a little bit of yesterday's daytime numbers; last night's drop into the 40s (again), another double-dip into today's AMPS, and her non-stop greens in general. At this point, my main concern is that if this is leftover shed action, I need to get it drained and leveled off a bit by Tuesday, when no one will be home to monitor (I work today but DH is off; I'm off tomorrow but he goes back to work; Tuesday, we're both back at work). If it's not leftover shed action and she keeps going low because she's having a grand time racing down the dosing ladder, we'll come up with a plan to address it while we're at work. If she starts leveling off/heading back up, we'll reevaluate today's dose choice, too. I am very curious to see what she comes up with for her +4, since this +2 food spike has been her "thing" lately, followed by a drop at +4.

The store has been quite busy, and between that and Trix's numbers, I am exhausted and keep crashing after dinner! Hopefully, with being off tomorrow, I can start catching up on condos....I miss being able to visit as much as I like.

Pretty flat so far, which is nice to see. DH will grab another test later on, just to see where she might be heading for the evening. I'll decide at PMPS tonight whether this morning's shot was a BCS or not....

Time for work!

Sounds like a good plan Amy. It can be so hard to try to second guess the shed and our kitties.
Always the main thing is to keep them safe and sounds like you are on the right path ;-)

Hey Amy! Another cycle of greatness for Trix. Looks like maybe things are settling in for her (insert fingers & paws doing a crossing action) :mrgreen: No wonder you've been so beat! But yay for the busy shop :-D That's right people- shop local shop small!
I'm glad you get a break tomorrow. Hopefully she's got this under control again though and you will actually just get a day of rest! Or a day of baking and decorating :lol:

HIghest she's been in a while...I'm curious to see if she double-dips again. As of now, I'm considering this morning's dose a BCS, but we'll see for sure at PMPS.

It's a bit hectic at the store....back to it!

i was wondering the same thing as sienne - if she's wanting to become your Work Buddy for a while! JD likes to go with Dyana sometimes! cat_pet_icon

this is all pretty amazing. you must be excited about it - although exhausted!

We have a couple of local book-store-kitties ~ they're like celebrities around here.

This is our first venture outside the lagoon in a week. Since she didn't pull any crazy drops or double-dips during the day today (aside from her AMPS, that is), I'm going to declare the last two shots BCSs and attempt 1.75U tonight. Hopefully, we've got that shed leveled off now, and we'll see some nice safe surfs instead of PJ parties.

I would sooooooo love to have a whole bunch of shop kitties! My two business partners and I are all cat people. But, very sadly, it is actually written in our lease that we can't have any animals in the store :sad: ...but more than that, it's actually a pretty dangerous environment for kitties, with all the needles, threads, metal shards, and chemicals. Even at home, my kitties aren't allowed in my studio space, as much as I would love to have them curled up with me while I'm working. In fact, my one partner's cat swallowed a needle and thread and had to have emergency surgery, and I know another woman whose cat got a beading needle lodged in the roof of her mouth. Both cats are fine...but I tell ya, I repeatedly tell people to not let their cats near their beadwork (including my partner), and they always said "But my cat never...." Yeah...until your cat DOES. Anyway....sadly, no shop kitties for us...

I'm finally off tomorrow - so looking forward to being with the kitties, even though it will also be a housework day!

ah, very good point about the dangers of kitties and beading supplies. my sewing area is downstairs and i haven't let the kittens down there at all. too many "fun" things to interest them. anya lives down there most of the time, especially since she's so hostile to the kittens, but so far no problems. famous last words, i know. i do try to keep everything in drawers, but you know how it is in a space like that, you never know what a kitty will find that you never saw.

one of my quilting friends discovered a threaded needle in the litter box, "used." :shock:

i gotta say the 103 is barely out of the lagoon. trixie was just taking a breath and looking around before going back in. ;-)
