All P's In place Toby is running around trying to catch a fly. It's good to see him running around instead of
just laying there. Have a good day!! Peg and Toby

thanks for dropping in to see Maria & Keiko! it's so nice to have someone who is in the boat with you, and especially who's just been in that boat but now is in an even better boat! ;-) I didn't have the experience of having the highest numbers on the forum because I was using a Freestyle LIte glucometer, which measures blood differently. Wendy had the same glucometer at the beginning too - they have a characteristic spreadsheet look of all yellow and blue. I thought punkin didn't bounce until I switched to a Relion. That was a horrible shock to go from a yellow/blue ss to an ugly pink bouncy one!

In any case, glad to hear Toby's playing today! that's the best, isn't it?!

Great to hear Toby is playing with a fly. One of my favorite Youtube video's is Simon's cat and the Fly.

I too liked your post on Keiko's condo today. There weren't many high dose cats when I started, Julie was my hero then too. I only used the Freestyle for 3 weeks. Then I started on the Relion. I hated it when the meter greeted me in the morning (Hi).

When I joined FDMB there had just been a blow-up on the high-dose insulin support group and most of the people left en masse to a private facebook group. So there weren't hardly any people with high dose cats around. There were 4 of us whose cats were diagnosed with acro within a couple of months of each other. We muddled our way through things together and a few people who had high dose cats offered help now and then. Fortunately Libby had experience with acromegaly and Jill knew a lot about it, so they helped us. A little bit of research helped too.

There are more high dose cats on LL now than i can remember since then.
