Good Morning, Everyone,

I seem to be having computer problems today. Rusty had a good night and ate his nighttime food shortly before we got up, so hopefully that accounts for the higher than expected AMPS. But we also have to consider that he is bouncing from the trip (the usual delayed bounce). He is sleeping in his perch above the radiator. Edward is baking bread, and I am fiddling with my computer. bbl.

p.s. my new snowshoes have bindings that are too small for my boots. Will return them this afternoon!

Come on Rusty, time to get back on track. The rip is behind you and the Lagoon in front of you.

Phooey on the snowshoes, I hope they can just swap the bindings out.

Hi Ella. Looks like Rusty cleared the bounce. Hope he surfs the safe green numbers today.

Bummer on having to return your new snowshoes. Maybe they'll have a pair that have bindings that fit your boots. If not I guess you could just wear them with a thick pair of socks and no boots....

I can smell Edward's bread breaking down here. Too bad you can post a scratch and sniff picture of the bread.

Nice slide to the lagoon for Rusty. Sorry about the snowshoes. I hope you can get some others that fit.

Hi again,
Rusty is surfing in the lagoon. Yay! I tinkered with my computer and it seems to be ok now. I installed some new programs and they slowed it down and screwed it up, so I uninstalled them. My old MacBook is going on 8 years, but it does what I want it to and I am not ready for a new one yet!

I could have exchanged the snowshoes for the men's version, which fit my boots (I am a perfect Mens' 9), but I really wanted the women-specific model. So I'm just going to stick with the ones I have (which are lighter and easier to pack in any event). But I sure do like those bindings on the Tubbs Wilderness model (Edward has a pair and they are very easy to get on and off). Tomorrow I'm going on a hike in the High Peaks. We may or may not need snowshoes, but must take them to be prepared (we also must take our Kahtoola spikes).

Edward's bread turned out great. We'll have some tonight with minestrone I made yesterday, and I'll take a sandwich on Edward's bread on tomorrow's hike.

bbl, when I will try to get to some condos. Today turned out to be more crowded than anticipated.

Loved those greens on Rusty today. The lagoon has missed it's meister. Paws crossed he'll flatten out and spend more time down there now.

Have fun on the hike tomorrow. Bet you'll have the best tasting sandwich in the group. :-D
 
Hi again,
Rusty is back surfing in the lagoon. He actually started up the stairs and meowed for us to come up with him!!! He wanted his bedtime fuds. I prepared them, but he's gone back into his little bed by the radiator and will have to be "invited" to come upstairs, as usual!
