Yesterday was another beautiful day, I was wondering when the bounce would arrive. Thanks Emily and Michelle for the late night/early morning visits yesterday.

11/30 Recap:
AMPS 125 +6 175 +9 75
PMPS 66  +2 100 +5.5 99  +8.5 78

I got a slightly early wake up holler this morning. Been a while since I've had one, but thankfully it was only 5 minutes before the alarm went off. The morning routine was as per usual, but this time Neko went straight to her bed after breffs, which is a much warmer place for me to do the shot and acupressure. cat_pet_icon We got above freezing today so kitties were enjoying the solarium for a bit. Neko's still out there, but probably not for much longer as the sun isn't shining on it anymore.

It's time to schedule Neko's 6 month vetty visit, but I've got to fit it around a bunch of other things. She's getting acupuncture on Wednesday and tomorrow I'm chauffeuring DM and DA to hair perms and shopping. Neko's vet only works Monday to Thursday but I want to get the b/w done soon to send to the dental vet for next month. There are never enough days in December. :YMSIGH:

I hope Neko clears the bounce soon. Good luck getting her vetty visited scheduled.

Hi Wendy. How often does Neko get a dental? The vet dentists here are so expensive. I called one and while they won't quote a price the receptionist said often the bill is well over $1200 and sedation is required for x-rays. My vet doesn't believe in taking x-rays unless he sees something suspicious and the bill is still over $600 if my memory is right. Max needs one soon as well. I hoe Neko clears the bounce but not too fast as to ruin your plans for tomorrow.

That was a quick turnaround. :-D

@Carla - It was a quick complaint by Neko's liver.

@Elise - This will be Neko's third dental, she had her last one a year ago. This one isn't for her teeth, although if she goes under I'll get them to do cleaning. Neko has started grinding her teeth again, and that could be a sign of more gum growth due to her acro tumor. Last year the dentist just filed one of her canine teeth that was rubbing on the gum below. When I called the dental specialist, they said they do gum work too. So I may not need to do X-rays, as that won't help with gum tissue. When the acupuncture vetty examined her last time, she noted that there is some thicker gums on one side. The reason I go to the dental specialist is that Neko has a heart murmur and they will do special monitoring of the heart if she has to go under. I got a call from a friend last week, who's diabetic cat passed away during a dental at a regular vetty due to blood clot. Last bill with X-rays, but no extractions, left me some change from $1000. Specialists cost more but it's worth it to me. The good thing is that I can feed her up to 6AM that morning, so I'll get up early and feed her then (which is +10.5).

Good work, Neko! That extra energy to stay warm must burn off some BGs.

You weren't kidding when you said you would be up at +8! :-D Good thing you were met by Mr Green! Our new vet said a dental could be risky for Tiger, not to mention costly(1200$ , I am so sorry to hear about your friend's kitty though, that is my worst nightmare- how horrible!

Hi Wendy,

Looks like you are pretty busy. Good thing the snow is off the ground! Good luck with Neko's vetty visit and with the dental. I'm sure all will go well.

Thanks for the info. about your hummingbirds. I never knew they ate bugs!

Have a good evening, guys. Neko, Rusty was briefly in the lagoon, but he may get back there later and maybe you'll be there too.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Wendy!

Neko bouncing? Never. ;-) I hope Neko had a great day in the sun and lagoon!

I don't know anyone who likes the vet including kittys so Neko is right on track. I hope all goes well.

As always thank you

Linda

I don't care what the calendar says, December is the shortest month of the year! November is a close second.

Love a short bounce - Neko could give lessons in clearing them nicely. :-D

I hope Neko gives you a permission slip to go play chauffer.
