Good morning guys! Yep, first day of December, now the time really starts flying! Mocha is up on that pink floor with mowgli so at least they are in good company .. have a great day guys!

Soooo this is WOW for a number for me, like fantastic right??!! Just not used to mowgli having such good numbers lol!!
And he is sooooo cute, an getting into mischief like the old days!!!
My question is..
Do I STILL give him the 2.0 U
I know that we base dosage on his NADIR and they have been high as of late, but I just want to confirm that I DO still give the 2U

are you able to test a bit tonight? meaning a +1 and at least a couple more checks?

if you'd like to retest in a bit and see where he is at, thats ok too....has he eaten?

but since this is your first low PMPS you really want to get +1 and +2 to see where he is at....and monitor him....yay for Mowgli!!!

Yes I can do some tests tonite, no he hadn't eatten yet... And it doesn't look like they snacked much today either, none of them again..
and he was sleeping in his old spot again!!! YEY, NOT under the bed!!

HMM, but he doesn't seem too interested in food...how much should he eat to safely inject? he has had maybe 1/4 of a FF can so far?

One more thing..so my civvie scully, he has IBD, anyway, he has never had this flavour before and as I peaked around he was eatting some out of mowglis dish.(not much) Now I turn around a second later and Scully has thrown up everything..
Is it common that some cats just don't do the fish? this might be an allergy even?
Just curious more than anything :)

Great shooting tonight!!

Fish and beef are the two most allergy prone foods for cats. I fed my guys a chicken and beef flavor and Gabby promptly threw up. My guys get poultry only.

Yeah I too have only been feeding the chicken varieties to the others too..this is the first time with the fishy...
So mowglis +1 is decent, I should be okay to check again in another 3 hours as opposed to in another hour?

he probably did....wouldn't doubt it! :lol: it is scary at first when you get your first low #, isn't it? then your heart starts racing....soon you'll be a pro!!! and yeah...keep an eye on him or he'll get into diving just like Rocket!

is totally scary btw when we first get these low numbers which are in fact closer to normal than what we are used to! How sad is that eh! lol

if anyone is, what you think of his numbers?
will check again in an hour? as i believe it should be surf time?
and the hopefully the rise will begin?

it looks like his 2u dose is finally kicking in. very nice Mowgli !
new territory. some surf some don't. let's hope for some surfing !

I know it's hard the first time you get in the double d's. back on 11/2 when you had some blues, he surfed and then gently went on up. does not seem like a late dropper.

It would be interesting to see what he does.... but then I was a testaholic :-)
But I think he's safe. You need to decide you're own comfort level.

you did great!
Remember, if you are not comfortable shooting low, you can always stall and retest.
And if you are around for the morning cycle early hours, that will help too.
