Yesterday
I received a call from the specialist vet today to make an appointment! We are booked in for the 2nd of February. Just a few more weeks
They were able to fit us in on the 19th but I'm working and there is no way I would have been able to do a shift swap. But I'm so relieved that we are booked in, I thought it would have taken a couple of months at least! They said they wanted Mo fasted for the appointment but given it's at 10am and he has his insulin at 7.30am, I said that would be a problem. They're making an exception thankfully
So yesterday the vet shaved part of Mo's scruff so we can see where we are injecting to rule out that we may be doing it wrong. Tim did 4 units last night (a reduction just in case we were doing it wrong this whole time and 8 units would have been too much
) and his BGLs are going up and up. Good to know we have been injecting correctly this whole time. I knew we were.
We've had no purrs from him for a couple of days. That makes me sad. He used to be such a loud purrer. I miss his cuddles. He would ALWAYS come cuddle me on the couch. Hopefully I get that boy back soon.
Have a wonderful day
