Another Libre that failed a couple days early... I think it's because his hair is growing back faster/thicker due to the cooler weather. Thankfully we have plenty of spares ready to go. I checked all the serial numbers for the ones I have left from our current batch, and they're unaffected by the false-low issue reported by Abbott.

Can't believe we're in December already!

How early did your Libre fail? I'm just collecting general data to compare against as we continue using it ....

The Libre 3+ should last 15 days and this one was a couple hours short of 11 days. Not so bad. I believe this is only the second one that's ended early due to the sensor glitching or failing, usually if we don't make it the full two weeks it's because he managed to rip it off or it came loose. And like I said, I think it's because his fur grew in too much to maintain a solid connection. The other one that ended early due to glitch/failure was I think due to a placement issue on our part, it was a little too close to his spine and there wasn't enough 'meat' there so the data coming in wasn't very good.

In my experience the devices themselves are pretty reliable, most failures can be attributed to poor skin prep or poor placement.

Esse wanted to rep his favorite team since we've got a big rivalry game coming up this weekend.
