Not sure if I posted this correctly in the subject line. At +11 he was 91bg. At +13 he has 63. I'm not sure why the number is so low. The 63 was after breakfast. I'm going to wait again and do another bg. I did order the needles from hocks a couple of days ago and am waiting. Maybe my .5u doses are on the heavy side? Can't wait for those needles so I can be exact!

That aside, he seems to be looking a little less lanky

It looks like Cinnamon is bored with diabetes and doesn't want to play anymore. :-D

I hate to say this Gwen, but all of your newly acquired knowledge may be going to waste soon. (That is a very good thing.)

Hi Gwen! Here is your link to yesterday's condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30976
That's quite a number this morning! that is not your AMPS because you did not shoot...so it's not a preshot number but a +13 if it is an hour after your normal shot time.
What time did you feed Cinnamon?
You got the +11 test and another test 2 hours later at +13?

Dr. Lisa may be very right!!

Just as an FYI, if you are concerned about whether a number is too low to shoot, you don't want to feed. In many cases (and Cinnamon has proved the exception), if you feed, the numbers come up in response to the food. If you shoot based on the food spike, you are giving insulin on a food inflated number. In this case, you did great! You had a +11 and then your +13 shows a dropping number. I wouldn't recommend shooting on a dropping number.

Good morning guys! Cinnamon is doing wonderful and will probably be packing her bags before to long! Have a great day guys!
