AMPS 230 shooting 2.75u
Once again he showed me green just as I was about to increase :rolleyes: How does he know? :rolleyes: Anyways, I did not increase.

And again Boomer did not eat either his +6 or +9. He did have quite a large +3 because he became Mr Fussypants and decided he didn't want to eat his +3 so I had to add another flavour to it :rolleyes: He definitely prefers eating off a plate rather than the auto feeder (although he eats from the auto feeder during the day) so I may have to just let him free-feed from plates overnight. Which would work except I won't know if he's eaten within the 2 hours prior to t/f/s.

Good news.....the hormone DH needed which had to be ordered by our pharmacy came in yesterday and the nurse called yesterday wanting to come over....so DH had his first treatment yesterday afternoon. Now, other than a couple more tests the Dr wants him to have, there is nothing more we can do for 2 months so we will have to put our patience pants on BIG TIME!

Today on the agenda....the search for the Great Horned Owls that was supposed to happen yesterday afternoon but life got in the way for both myself and my friend.
 
Hooray for getting the hormones started so quickly! But boo to having to wait 2 months. At least they've started something right now. I am SO excited about your Great Horned Owl search! I LOVE owls (I think we already ascertained that, haha). I actually have a tattoo of a great horned owl; it was my first! I hope the search proves fruitful and most importantly, you have fun. I can't wait to see the pictures! Bring it on down Booms!

So glad DH's treatment has begun! Patience pants are tough to wear, but hopefully you can enjoy having not much else to do for 2 months....vines and prayers that all goes perfectly!

Trix never liked her autofeeder - and she loved to eat. You could give free-feeding a try and see how his numbers go with it??? Or, of course, there is always setting yet another alarm so you can pick fuds up by +10....(yeah, I know :eek::eek:).

Glad to hear everything is moving along for DH! Boomer is in Yellow like Ravan. It seems that quite a few kitties today have Higher BG today?

No Great Horned Owls spotted today :(
Tomorrow morning I have a photo session very close to a cemetery where there is another pair of Great Horned Owls that apparently are year-around residents. I may stop there on the way home from the session.

HOpe the Great Horned Owls will allow themselves to be seen tomorrow.

Glad that DH has begun the treatment. Keeping fingers crossed that all will go well.

44 yrs ago when I moved here, one summer night I heard owls hooting. I went outside but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Every night I'd hear them hooting. A neighbor came over & told me to look on my roof. There was a beautiful Horned Owl!
Every summer he /she comes back for a week or so.
I found an American Indian web site that talks about your animal spirit guides. I have 3 The great Horned owl, Ravans & cats!:) ( I also have 2 Ravans that come to my yard every fall for food!)
