Well, he's sliding down a bit this morning. He hasn't hit the lemons for a LONG time but I guess the pain and MC he was preferring took its toll, as I knew it would. This morning there hasn't been a lot of eating but raw was his preference. I syringe fed 16 cc's and now he's eating a bit more on his own. I'll come home this afternoon to pick him up and get to the vet. Thanks for all the advice. I'll ask for the prescriptions you recommended, for sure.

I'm glad his numbers are coming down. Maybe that means he is starting to feel a little better. :bighug:

Terrible news: Milo is blocked. The vet is doing the emergency procedure to try and unblock him. He’s very worried about putting him under. I’m asking for all your prayers that he will survive and can be made better....

It turns out not to be a blockage. It’s a very large mass. The vet is having me come back and he believes it’s best that we put him to sleep.

I'm so sorry to hear this diagnosis....maybe you be in a place to make the best decision for Milo.

Oh no, Sam. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:I can't believe it. Reading this update is heartbreaking. You joined with Milo shortly after I did and I always felt a connection to you and him. I'm in tears and am just so, so sorry. I can't think of anything else to say to you right now. You are in my prayers. Thank you everyone. It really does mean so much. You have supported me through some pretty bleak times. Milo has had multiple multiple multiple health challenges over the years, emergency visits to the vet... He was as fragile as he was loving and sweet. I thought I was going to lose him in June so the last few months were so hopeful and a real blessing of time.
This diagnosis today was a shock but I was aware he wasn’t really himself lately, the lack of appetite... I desperately hoped it was just the diabetes. This tumor grew fast and was not detected earlier this fall. When I saw the X-ray, it was clear there was nothing to be done. His bowels were full and he wasn’t passing stool and his urine had blood in it. The tumor took up his whole abdomen. The fact he was as happy as he was up to the end is remarkable.
Our hearts are broken. We will try to hold onto our happy memories. Thank you for you love and support for all of us.
