Furball was happy & purry this morning. She hasn't bounced yet. That is good. Maybe today I can see what she's doing on this dose.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and good wishes for Callie yesterday. The vet said the tumor in her stomach collapsed in on itself and formed the wound on her belly and that it filled with pus. I don't have the wording correct. I can't remember exactly what she called it. Basically, all I can do is keep it clean and it won't heal. She was feeling pretty good last night. I'm going to look for some of the saline rinse Ella mentioned at the store today. If I can't find any, I'll just keep cleaning it with water.

Nice start for Furball!

I'm glad Callie is feeling good! I don't know if this is a good idea or not, so I would check with your vet...but several years ago my civvie, Zen, had an abscessed anal gland that ruptured. Our vet had us do daily betadine washes to keep it clean. I can't remember how much we diluted the betadine, though, but it may be something worth looking into.

Have a great day, Carla!

Oh Furball, how nice. A blue beginning to the day. Good for you.

More vines for Callie. For comfort. For time.

And for you, Carla. Just the best mamabean.

Thanks everyone.

Furball had a yellow day today. I wonder if that means blue tonight? She's feeling good.

I got some saline rinse and tried it on Callie's wound. The would is too big and has too much pus in it for that to work. I would have to use a lot of the bottle to get it all out. I ended up using the shower head again. She didn't like the saline rinse any better than the shower head. She has been sneezing today and sleeping more than normal. I hope it's just from the sneezing and not from the wound making her feel bad.

((((Carla Callie Furball)))) That's a beautiful cycle for Furball! I am so sorry to hear this wound is not going to heal for sweet Callie :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: I am sending you tons more healing and comfort vines and prayers- you are an amazing bean!

(((Carla))) I'm sorry about Callie's wound. You are the best bean. Sending many vines for Callie and for you. Your LantusLand family understands. Nice cycle for Furball today. :-D She wants to help too.

Carla, I'm sorry that the saline solution wasn't enough to help Callie. Many , many vines for her to feel better. I hpoe she isn't too uncomfortable. You are doing such a good, careful job caring for her.

Did Furball get back to blue?
